Missy...you're not helping and, with all due respect, you are missing the point. This isn't about you against me or me against Murph. It certainly isn't about women defending men who abuse them.

This part of the forum is about whether bac works for alcoholics and supporting folks who are exploring bac for themselves. Of course its a messy business. Alcoholism is a messy business (understatement). In the process of sorting it all out, we fight with ourselves (alot) and on occasion we fight with others. Its what we do!

But you are dead wrong to take it personally. If there have been uncomfortable moments on this board over the last year, and there have, if we are deeply honest with ourselves, its us, its ourself, we're fighting. Nobody here is against the other guy. Quite the contrary. We are all in this together.

Look...we're not always confident people. We doubt ourselves. We get angry. We lash out. We make bad jokes. We certainly have bad days. But its not aimed at or about you. Even if it sounds that way. On this board, when there's something hurtful its always about "me". And there is plenty of anguish to go around...

So I would suggest that if you are serious about bac as a solution, stay here, learn as much as you can from the science that is discussed and the experiences that are discussed, make friends and take the good with the bad, and most importantly don't take "my" problems (or anyone else's) for "your" problems.
