Greetings all! Glad to see the thread is still alive and well. I'm all alone in strange city, so am making all my own sandwiches

Thought I'd pop in and support you for a bit Murph, you are horribly outnumbered by non-sandwichmakers here!

Man-haters everyone of them Bleep. I'm glad you popped by, it'll be good to have some grown up conversation for a change.

Yesterday I changed my dosage schedule from 25 mg every 2 hours to 3 lots of 50 mg, mostly because I wanted to see if I could kill off the lingering glass of something while cooking dinner thing that I've still got going on. Well it worked for that and the Old Peculiar remains in it's bottle, but it's knackered me. I'm a bit zonked again. I'm going to keep at this dose for another day or two and see if the zonkedness dissipates, but it got me thinking about the whole scheduling debate thing that's going on.

I believe that a little and often helps enormously with the SEs, but maybe larger lumps are more likely to help kick the cravings. And if that's true, then perhaps the one big dose in the evening thing has some merit. Obviously one couldn't just switch over from the multi dose to the single dose schedule, but after a proper titration it might be worth trying. Plus it may enable a reduction in total baclofen intake.

I wish we had a tried and trusted protocol for titration up and down that we could use, but then again maybe it is different for everyone. And then there's the girlies, apparently they're different and they have a much worse time of it, but of course you and I know they're just weaker and can't handle the SEs like we can.

So what's up with you? Are you having probs with the make of bac changing?

It would appear so Murph. This new crap gives me greater SE's, so I thought it was ever so slightly stronger. It turns out this is not the case. Suddenly, booze seems like a great idea, and is tasting well to boot. The great thing about baclofen is that I know it's just a temporary glitch. I just hope I can be sensible and not go out partying in the meantime!

I hear you on the need for a proper titration schedule, It is very frustrating groping around in the dark like this. Glad to hear you seem to have found a method for now, there probably is something to the punch method. Or it's because you are a man, that's probably it - we now how easy it is for men.

I could easily drink. Fortunately my indifference mostly remains so I'm making a different than usual choice. The SEs are kicking my ass all of the sudden and the only explanation at this point is the booze. All other things remain the same. (remember that I checked the bottle the other night to make sure it was the same? It is.) just sayin
