Murph’s Baclofen (or should that be BacloFUN) diary

This is always better than the newspaper at 5 in the morning.:H
And Neva, Wanna fuck was always a common bar phrase in my bar days.
Not from me of course, just sayin...

My favorite was always "Well, FUCK me running", a phrase of surprise.

Have a good morning and I really enjoy the 'HUMOUR'! Starts off a great day:thanks:

    To all :l

OK. Truth. I used the aforementioned line in this way, "want to meet at lunchtime tomorrow and fuck?" Worked a charm. We're still best friends and sometimes lovers 28 years later. :H:H:wow:

RT, I'm shocked and appalled at that sort of behaviour. Missing a meal for any reason is absolutely unforgivable.

Quick shag or a long lunch break then.

I hope it tasted good and was filling. The lunch that is.

                    lady lush,
are you sure you can justify the apostrophes (not apostrophe's) around HUMOUR a few posts back? i mean, come on! we're trying to bring this thread up to a higher standard of accuracy. i think this is right good humor here, and there's no reason to send its (not it's) integrity into question by putting those sacred marks around the word.

Ig, i think your emoticon (the bowing round fellow) is spot-on, as it gives me the proper honor (or honour, for you people in the queen's land -note proper use of the apostrophe) that i deserve as a guardian of punctuation decency here on this thread. thank you. for fuck's sake.

                      Rudy B,

Your arm will get tired of dangling that carrot but I don't play and/or ruin good threads.
Now you have a nice afternoon.

Rudy, I think you might be confusing Ig and I. His avatar is a very put out banana. You also gave him the credit for posting about the expletives alleviating pain study.
Oddly enough, the name of the picture that I have for my avatar is called, "The Guardian."

Speaking of punctuation, etc., Rudy... I have to ask - why no capital letters? It's been bugging me for awhile! No offense, but I almost wrote you off when you first started posting (I have no patience for lack of grammar/punctuation and tend to skip posts that are lacking in either/both as they hurt my brain), but I actually read a few of your posts and realized that, despite the lack of using the shift key, you're quite bright! :H Not trying to sound harsh here, just honestly curious! :l

(I actually say the word in real life in exactly those situations in which it has been proven to alleviate physical (and mental) pain. Even in front of the kids.):eeks:

I bought a hankie in Japan that was bright orange and said SHIT at the top in big black letters, with a lovely cartoon-like picture of a dog seen in silhouette, with its tail lifted.

Underneath the picture of the dog, in small black letters, it said: Look what I've got here

Grammatically, it was impeccable, however, which can't quite be said of the following (but it says a lot anyway)...

                            A t-shirt I bought there said:

Fuck is the world we all love peace

Somehow I think it makes sense.

Oh Rudy, NOOOOOOOO! I'm afraid you have just gone and lost your Apostrophe Nazi credibility. Lushy wasn't using apostrophes, she enclosed the word humour in single quotation marks. Of course to the amateur Apostrophe Nazi, single quotation marks may appear to be apostrophes but they are actually used to denote, among other things, irony. And in this case Lushy was using the British spelling of the word in an ironic manner, hence the single quotes.

Ha haaaaaa, my knowledge of English is obviously far superior to yours (no apostrophe), even though English isn't my first language. Normally I just talk bollocks.
