Murph’s Baclofen (or should that be BacloFUN) diary

IG: Actually the Firefox add-on can't be the answer. BE seems to be set for every application I use: Word, Publisher, Excel and all three of the browsers.

Rudy: I'll make it easy for your bacced-out brain: real dairy cream or that crap from a canister, which is better for eating?

Aw man, can't seem to get it working. Typed about:config in the address bar and changed something about location to en-gb but that hasn't worked either.

Having been made aware how apparent it is, the stress levels are increasing as I contemplate a lifetime of colonial spelling. Time to up my bac maybe!
Started Baclofen 3/9/10 Hit my switch at 250mg on 21/11/10 Present maintenance dose of 50mg : started drinking after 1 year, upped dose to 80mg and stopped: Tapered to 30mg, started 6 months of drinking, upped dose to 240mg to stop 12/7/12

Murph, at my ripe old age (29 :H) I am just glad that the nipples are above the belly button.

Sorry to read about your bad day. You are quite a writer though! I have a friend who, since sobering up, has followed his passion and is actually a working (aka getting paid for it on occassion!) comedian. Sometimes when I read your stuff, I think you should write for him. Hope the world is a better place today. I had some strange stuff going on in my head Friday/Saturday. Ick.

            Ig I found this online:
Control Panel, double?click Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options, and then double?click Regional and Language Options.
Click the Languages tab, and then click Details.
select the input language you want to add, as well as the keyboard layout/Input Method Editor (IME). Be careful with the IME setting, so you don't specify having a keyboard with physical characteristics that don't match your current device.
select the language you prefer to use 5.
Click Language Bar, and select your preferences, then click OK.
Give it a go and then I won't wince every time I read your posts.

Hi DG, thanks for asking, yeah the world seems much more pleasant today; I'm operating normally and not tripping up all over the place.

I wouldn't worry about gravity too much, if you lie on your back and get your arms in just the right position, no one will notice. Just try not to move too much; jiggling about will definitely give the game away. :H

I agree on all counts. I am so, so thankful for underwire.
I think he should write for me! (Of course, it's always about moi.) I'd steal it and put my name on it, though, and he knows it. Honesty foils the best devious plans.
Sorry you had an off couple of days.

I've not noticed that it matters much what is going on when what is going on involves a woman laying/lying (don't care) on her back.
              What position do your
arms have to be in in order for gravity not to reveal all, I wonder? and the one. (Apparently there are too many emotis in this post. Don't worry, Ig, they aren't contagious! )

Ig, et al. You guys sure are expending a bit of energy trying to make sure there are some 'u's in some words. You could just type them, right click on the word when it shows that it's misspelled and choose the "learn" option. My computer knows how to spell lots of things now. Like ignominous and ameisen and lots of other things... But maybe that's because it's a pretty mac and supersmart to boot? Just like it's humble owner.

I disagree; it can be awfully distracting for a chap when the boobs can't keep in time and particularly disconcerting when they carry on jiggling for 30 seconds on their own accord after everything is finished.

Ladies, I'm available at extremely reasonable rates and if you should have problems paying my invoice, there are always non-cash methods available.

How strange? Strange like "oh gosh, I'm a bit peeved today" sort of strange or strange like "if I jump the turnstyle I'll attract the attention of the pig, which is what I want, and then when he chases me I'll turn on him, knock him to the ground, stamp on his throat with my ice-skates and then eat his face in front of those nuns"?

                  I need to know.

You NEED to know, eh??? Well, some of my strange thoughts were about men in makeup. Specifically, Johnny Depp. I also had some thoughts about the upcoming figure skating season. (more men in makeup) Then I had some other strange thoughts about beer.

I will leave you hanging as to which of the thoughts I considered to be "Ick."

And she was right. I fucked up. I?d fooled myself but not her.
Murph, are you sure your friend was right? I read recently that people who try to fix other people are really in need of fixing themselves. If she was calling you a failure, that does not sound like a friend. A friend would be kinder than that, and supportive. You don't need to listen to that.

DGWell, it can't be the men in makeup thing. I mean, we all have thoughts about men in makeup and that's not in the least bit strange.

Figure Skating has a season? I had no idea. OK, it could be the skating thing; I used to have a lot of thoughts about Jayne Torvill and some of those could be considered, by some, as a bit icky.

But I reckon it was the beer. You had a strange thought about beer. Possibly about a man in makeup skating on a lake of frozen beer, in winter, with Jayne Torvill, spread eagled in front of him with a vacuum cleaner nozel in one hand, a feather duster in the other and a look of puzzled bewilderment spread across her cheeky face.

                        Am I right? I amn aren't I? Yeah I am.

Bruun, hiya babe! It's been an age since I last saw you around my parts . The friend was right. Absolutely so. And everything she said has just been confirmed by my wife. EVERYTHING, goddammittt! Including all the things she's been saying for the last few months that I've been denying.

I hate it when other people are right.

Hi Ne. . Glad you're enjoying the mac. Years ago they were the computer of choice for book publishers.

Ne I keep reading that you want to take things to pm. I wish you wouldn't, they often promise to be the most interesting bits. And Murph who's the cause of your malaise. Come on chaps, we need full disclosure here. I can't follow half the stuff you right about because it refers to another incident that I'm not familiar with.

The anxiety sucked!I'm still nervous about moving too quickly, but I don't want this to take forever. Ne, I am going to try to contact Dr. Levin, though he probably has a 5 year waiting list. Thanks to you all for the support and suggestions.
