All buzzed out now thanks. Back to normal...whatever that is.

Your doc doesn't sound like a particularly good match for you, Bruun.:H

I guess I'm guilty of some hubris. While I DID feel indifferent to AL at 250 mg, I definitely am not indifferent at 210 mg. As soon as I can safely increase my dose without bad SE, I will. I want to feel that way again. The good news is the side effects are much better. So, slow and steady stays the course.

Murph, at least the Coot baby appears to have some personality. The pigeon baby is just fugly. Glad you are getting back to "normal."

Curly - sounds like you are making good progress - that is wonderful!

Yeah the coot is cute. Must admit though pigeon babies have a habit of falling out of the nest and decomposing in public. Not very considerate.

            Curly, you're getting there.

Oops. I may have been thinking of tarts or tards or whatever y'all were calling yourselves, or others. Turds, tards, and tarts...Oh my! We all know I raid the med trolley with fervor. I cease to be the only one. :H

Bruun, I love epsom salts. I buy them in bulk at Costco. I started taking epsom salt baths the days after I would drink. The epsom salts are thought to raise plama magnesium levels, and alcohol drains the body of magnesium. There is even a cardiac arrhythmia that is more common in alkies due to lowered magnesium called Torsades. I thought I was doing myself a great favor. :H I continue to take them, I believe them beneficial.

Curly, koko (keep on keeping on)!

That's cool Curly, you know the number you have to aim for and it's not outrageously high. Won't be long before you're back there again.

I don't know what this "slow and steady stays the course" nonsense is meant to mean, terribly obscure. I think the expression you're looking for is Softly softly catchee monkey.:H

Magesium is also excellent for lowering blood pressure. There is an easily absorbed crystalline form called CALM (at least in the US). It really does help keep you calm and help your blood pressure.

Murph, did you seriously think I was going to fall for "softly softly catchee monkey"? I may be naive, but not THAT naive. Besides "Bullocks " is my new work for 2011.

Calm isn't what I would call the diarrhea CALM creates despite BP lowering benefits.

Bleep, we try to educate them with good, decent, swear words. We do our best. But at the end of the day, there's only so much we can do. They have to WANT to swear like us.

Not you, LL. For sure. Or anyone else. Place your blame and anger where it belongs. The disease and the treatment (or lack thereof.) And our lack of understanding of it all.

The pigeons are back. Or maybe new pigeons? I'm checking myself for meningitis and bedbugs, though they're 3 yards away from anything I come into contact with. Do ya' think I'm safe?

I missed the last batch of squabs. (ugly name for an ugly thing, but what newborn isn't hideous? You showed a fully feathered whatever. Poor much maligned pigeons. :boohoo

I'll take pix later for you.
