    Sexual Side Effects of Baclofen

That's what I'm saying seeking. Women who drink too much, often use alcohol to relax and be uninhibited during sex. I guess you may know what I mean about the sober sex thing. Can I still be uninhibited and will bac help? Who the heck knows till later when I'm sober and pick a man. I'll be reposting much later, to inform you all. LOL !

I'll let you know too! :H

I honestly don't know how I'll get to it once I'm sober and in a place in which I'll actually feel comfortable "picking up" a new man. I'll deal with that hurdle once I get there...sigh. You're right, though--I always drank in order to feel relaxed and comfortable enough. Pretty much every boyfriend I ever had, happened because I got drunk enough to hit on them. I used to be VERY good at that (sigh again).

I know being crazy drunk I will not reach orgasm, but otherwise-mild to moderate, YEEEEES. I'm being obnoxious now, can't help it, it's fun! Anyway, I'm going through a divorce and this doesn't matter too much. Eventually, when I meet "him" I plan to be stable. On bac or off or whatever. In the meantime I may need to take care of business (alone), and hope I'm not disappointed. If I am but sober, that is the important part. I really can't wait to begin my journey so I can tell you about all of it. I'm kind of a free bird and say it as it is
Luv you, already. Can't wait until your bac'd out! Hope you'll let it all hang out! :H

Getting off the day after a bender makes the hangover much more tolerable.

Serenity, its the same for many guys as well. Every girlfriend I ever had (except one) I met drunk. Sociial anxiety is a key factor in alcoholism.

No worries Serenity. Your chances of finding a great guy will be/are being increased by several orders of maginitude.

Guys, be honest, if you're over the age of consent and you're here, I'm guessing willingness/wanting did not always lead to fruition when you were drunk/hungover. Just sayin'. uch:
Oh yes, that happened to me all the time. My last b/f was surprised that I was less likely to want to have sex after drinking, as most women he'd come across got hornier. But after a few drinks (even 2-3!), I'm unable to reach orgasm. The sex is still fun, it's just anti-climactic. Weed, on the other hand! But that's another thread entirely. Heck maybe another forum as it's completely non AL-related! :H

As to what seeking and redhead have said about AL making them less inhibited when it comes to being with a new guy (or maybe being able to even just be comfortable with a guy you've been with for awhile) -

Let's think this through - we drink to take the edge off of the anxiety. Bac removes the anxiety so that we no longer need to drink. So, if we don't have the anxiety, we should be more comfortable with a potential new mate, yes?
At least, that is what I'm hoping. Every guy I've dated before (well, since the age of 21), the beginning of the relationship was lubed up with alcohol. We'd go out and have drinks, go out to eat and have a few drinks, etc. It will be very interesting seeing what that whole process will be like with less or no alcohol. At least the sex part I'm not too worried about. Well, at least I've had the experience of being in a very intense relationship back when I wasn't drinking (late teens, early twenties) in which I was very uninhibited and not shy about asking for what I wanted. I am very much hoping that I'll be able to experience that again!

I'm finding this thread to be comforting (pathetic, I know... but misery loves company), funny (as in guffaw, lmao funny), and enjoyable (in a painful, nato kind of way).

But I'm waiting breathlessly for Lo0p's input... um, maybe not the right choice of words. Hopefully all the anticipation won't be for nothing, sigh, as in the topic of discussion.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

It's cookin' in my little bundle of noodles up there! I just clocked off my last shift at what proved to be a wild and profitable weekend at work. :yes2:

I've got some great ideas, but with the way that I write it could be anytime. Three o'clock in the morning tomorrow or a couple weeks from now. Who knows? It kind of stews up there until the write moment and then I just blurt it all out.

With my partner out of commission for the next few weeks, it looks like I am going to have follow my Bac protocol and self administer. I don't need any additional stress in my life, after all.

                            (I hope I don't go blind)

I think the greatest SE of too much, um, self administration is hairy palms. Right?
That's what they make razors for. Or nair. Waxing hurts like hell, but less so on your palms than on other parts, I'm sure.
                              Bottom line? no worries, mate.
