I cannot believe Amtrak erased this post twice. Each time I go to post, it erases the whole thing by sending me to the Connect to Amtrak web page. I have to COPY the text, please remind me to do so, SIGH. AGG! Strange thing is, it doesn't happen when I hit preview post, only when I hit post without previewing.

It doesn't help that I forgot to bring reading glasses so seeing what I'm typing is a strain. 2666 isn't getting much attention today.

I'm on my way home, traveling backwards in the train, hoping I'm traveling back in time in terms of anti-aging and past prosperity. I don't think it works because I look like bloody hell right now, my celtic genes do me no favors when I'm sick, red blotchy fat girl here.

Thanks for the well wishes Ginger, and Space, my bladder didn't hold out. But it all worked out.

I went to the trouble last night of typing out a whole post here about being stuck on a train and not being able to pee. Than I (myself, not Amtrak) accientally deleted it. All I got to say is, your loss.
Yes, I would board the anti-aging train, full bladder or not.
Hope you get home soon and have time to really baby yourself. You definitely deserve it.
And you gotta get further with that book at some point! How will I ever know if it's worth the $5 it would cost me from Amazon to get it?!

That will be one full train, I will try googling it to book seats, I dont even care if theres a river of pee running through it I will still get on.
Hope you can do some reading under a big fluffy duvet with squashy pillows and a nice hot drink,(non al of course). I did google the book but it looks a bit heavy going for me.

Thank you warm lovelies for your willingness to join me on the pee train (LOL Windy and Space!) and for your comforting recommendations. I slept really well last night although I didn't drink the warm tea, I drank wine and it did nothing for me. Today I feel worse, but popped an antabuse, damnit all to heck. Friggin' wine. Only one bottle, ie, not like the old days, but enough to make me regret it -all that stupid sugar/carb, with no benefit and then I tried this new LED light I got in the mail, you ladies will love this. Google LED red light therapy for anti-aging and you'll find all sorta stuff. Google blue light LED therapy for acne, same thing. I did some research on this and determined the specs for plant lights were the same as the high priced anti-aging LEDs so mine arrived yesterday and I'm using it for growing my hair back and then for anti-aging. Its clunky as all get out, but I put it on my head while reading 2666 after my crappy bottle of wine last night, for twenty minutes. I need the eye protectors before I can use on my face tho.
I got red light for the hair growth and the rejuvenation, the blue for the killing of germs like candida/bacteria, mixed together on a square panel for like $29.00.
2666 is one of those reads where you have to be in the mood for details, because some of it is silly detail but you get to know the characters somewhat better, although not enough yet to care about them. None of the characters seem to have any heart, or at least no sympathetic turn from the author. Its more a rendering of happenings by an objective observer. So we'll see. Certainly not a feel good novel, but more of a literary work, as you said Space, probably heavy. So picture me with the panel of red/blue lights balanced on my head while reading with my glasses the tome 2666 and struggling to figure out why its a good book. I'm sure future such nights will unveil all.

Okay, time to go snot up the chiropractor's face down therapy board. Don't know how well that will go. Have to stuff some tissues up my sleeve just in case. Or maybe up my nose for that chic look.

Bruun I looked up those lights on Amazon.co.uk and the ones on health and beauty are mostly expensive are the plant ones (gardening) the same thing? is that what you said or did I misunderstand

Yes, as far as I could tell, they are all standard LEDs. The "therapy" versions (for anti-aging vs plant growing) have stands or are linked together in pairs so they stand up and deliver light from both directions however, seems like they're mostly the same specs. Except that the plant light doesn't have infrared lights maybe? I was reading this just now Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: DPL Deep Penetrating Light Therapy and it gets rave reviews, I think there are only red LEDs plus infrared. So it wouldn't help with rosacea (skin redness and veins) but would help more with the anti-aging and pain. The reviews are too good to be real, imo, though.
I fell asleep for 45 mins with the plant light on my face last night and still look like hell today. I'm sure more research needs to be done but my brain has been too fried to do anything but minimal research on it. I took this review to heart and just purchased the plant light. I think 660 NM light gets rid of wrinkles supposedly, and something around 415 or 450? blue LED kills bacteria and helps acne. Anti-Aging LED Light Therapy, Acne 415nm LED Blue Light Therapy

So yes I'm fine from last night, I chewed up some benedryl and the Nyquil had little alcohol in it, and lastly, it was my first antabuse day. All of that made the whole thing a non-event thanks to the benedryl which I took as soon as I started feeling flushed and tightness in my already congested chest. This morning I'm fine, but tired. Trying to be more mindful of the things I do.

Thanks Bebe. Going back to bed sounds nice. My mom just left, she came over and we went to the farmers market and lunch, and now I'm ready to take a nap. Man I miss the days I could pop a sinus pill and zoom around losing weight!

Fun story for the day. I noticed my cat sitting on the couch in her hunting/waiting pose. I thought there must be a spider under the cushion or something, because she's waiting and watching. Then a while later, she was still there, and I wanted to see if there was a spider in the couch. So I watched with her. Pounce! She got it. It wasn't a spider though, it was a drip of snot from her nose. And another! The couch cushion is crusty and spotted from the last two or three nights, I see now. GROSS.

Guess she & I are sharing more than covers at night. We're both snotty.

Hope you're feeling better. I've been taking benadryl for my wellbutrin reaction, and now I think I'm hooked on the sleepiness it brings. I vaguely remember being in treatment with a junkie who in desperation shot up benadryl. Well, I'm not that bad. Yet.

Yes, cute and gross, that's one of the things you have to appreciate to really love your pets, right?

Haven't taken AB again but still AF. I need the nyquil to sleep, to breathe. I have been mouth breathing for ten days now and the inside of my mouth and throat are getting weird, like sticking together and sore.

I have had some self chatter about alcohol but nothing too bad. No ants as in side effects of not drinking except that I'm taking too long to sleep and tired in the AM. I'm still sick, I think I reinfected myself last week and the thing started all over again when I returned from my trip. Is it possible you can leave old germs at home and they're still alive 40 hours later to reinfect you? My nurse says yes.

Anyways, the lights - I don't know more than that they seem to be the same wavelength as the expensive ones. Eaglelight.com is where I bought mine. I've asked the company if its the same (sent them the link I posted here for the more expensive stuff) and am waiting on a response.
