Oh Lolita is a doll! Love how she leaves "gifts" for you on the porch! :H
Bruun, I don't touch bh's either. :H (that's what dh's are for, right?) How are you today?
I got up at 4AM to watch figure skating. I will just say that Ryan Bradley's tush looks fabulous in tight beige pants. That is all.

I cannot imagine, DG, getting up to watch anything at 4am. LOL Loved your commentary by the way.
Redh, pretty kitty, amazing fierce. No front claws and still manages to hunt all the time? She must be the Jane/Tarzan of felines. My cats rely heavily on their claws, I have one that claws up the wood fence, she can't really jump but does she ever use those talons to heave-ho. When she hunts, she eats the goods. I normally find a tail, feet, and some intestines on my welcome mat. Sometimes a head, but rarely. I call it her "fast food" :H She gets tired of the cafeteria here, and goes out to eat.
I'm so tired and crappy today. I have meetings the next two days, I can't be feeling this way tomorrow...

Mostly eaten animal parts lying around...now that is sounding more like home. Although I will say that these supposedly prey driven GSD's don't hold a candle to greyhounds when it comes to picking off squirrels. (RIP Greyhounds) What a nice kitty to leave you feet and tails and things on your matt!!!
How are you tonight? I hope you are able to get a good night sleep and face the meetings tomorrow. I am so lucky with the life I lead these days. One of the organizations I belong to asked me to cover a conference call today. Even though I did it from home in my pajamas I thought I was going to DIE being reminded of corporate life!!! They should be happy I saw the "mute" instructions in the e-mail for more reasons than they thought. "Background noise" wasn't the half of the noise going on. :H
You said something once I have never forgotten (to NE one time). You said you wished you could go out and not drink together. I wish I could join you both in that!
AI then beddy bye for me.

Good evening DG, meeting/travel went fine, not optimal but oh well, wasn't my fault, things went as well as I could make them. Felt pretty good this AM, for some reason.
Martini girl is in the room. I have similar meetings tomorrow, but am feeling pretty confident I'll be fair to good. Gut is growing with the AL though.
Bleh. How are you? What do you do in the evenings? I'd love it if we all lived nearby and could have a weekly get together where we do or don't attend but it could be our own little secret AA without all that drama. Apparently we create enough of our OWN drama on MWO.

Mornin' Bruun! Glad your part in the meetings went fine. The rest of it is out of our hands! Hope your part in things goes well today too. Then you head back home for the weekend? Any fun plans?
For years my evenings were drinking + something else. Then they turned into pretty much just drinking. So after stopping drinking, it took quite a bit of reconstruction to "get a life." :H I'm an early bird so evenings for me aren't very late anyway!! Now that I "have a life" () some of my evening stuff is going to Mary Kay training, volunteering at a local shelter / mission, volunteering at the local theatre (aka seeing free shows!).
Your post made me wish you lived closer as one night a week there are a group of us non-drinking women who get together for what has become known as "Stitch & Bitch." :H Some people knit or crochet and others are learning. Some just hang out. I got frustrated with trying to crochet so now I take my mandala coloring book. :H We just girl gab. One golden rule of ours is "we don't talk about anyone who is not there." I love it - gossip comes so naturally for me and many of us women it seems. So learning to interact and have fun without ANY gossip accidentally becoming part of it is so refreshing. We call each other out.
Of course I met these women through AA. A huge benefit of AA for me has been making sober friends. We are all looking for stuff to do that doesn't involve drinking. (and please do not think this is a push to AA! Just stating a benefit I experience myself!)
I try to use MWO drama as a learning experience. That sort of stuff used to really get under my skin and I'd find myself thinking about it when I'm not even on line. That sort of mental knashing of teeth just serves no purpose. With time and practice, it's a lot easier to ignore stuff that doesn't interest me and let it go - not think about it at all. I'm not 100% with that yet, but I'm a lot better than I used to be. I found that is a useful thing in other areas of life too - not just here.
Gardening season is upon us too. As soon as the rain stops and things dry up a tad (which might be July or so at the rate we're going) I will be out there planting and puttering with vegetables and flower pots.
I keep busy these days. Nearly all of it different from what I used to do. (sit on my ass and drink) You too will find your way. Believe in yourself. Part of what I had to do was BELIEVE that there was a good life out there worth living for, and somehoe getting through the pain of stopping drinking for. I didn't know what it was at the time, but I like the way it has all worked out.
Bitch slap martini girl for me, K? :b&d: I'm sure I have now exceeded the paltry smilie limit.
On the royal wedding, do you get to sit down instead of stand forever in your own wedding if you are a prince / princess??? Guess so.... (in a small window on my screen next to figure skating!!)
I hope you have a good day.

Bruun's Titting UP
Hey DG,
No pool for me, was a competitive swimmer through my childhood/teens, had enough of pools to curl my tongue. Or is it swimsuit fear? I dunno, I have always had the latter partly because of giant boobs regardless of weight. I wonder if women with big boobs, thin hair, and pale skin have a greater tendency towards high blood pressure and intolerance of assholes? Or other things, not sure, could quantify before the end of the weekend no doubt as the PMS sets in and luckily, I'm not in charge of the nuclear button. :l
