Good morning bleep and DG,
Isn't it ironic that alcohol makes you gain so much weight but can't can't lose it by going AF? Bizarre, and right DG, shows how complex our bodies are. I guess the metabolism gets screwed up with AL, it's a CNS (?) depressant and purest sugar. I'm happy to say I'm offically in ketosis for the first time ever! I can't have ANY fruit or anything but a little vegetable and meals of meat. I'm told I'm carb sensitive, which I bet figures in to a type of alcoholic profile. I'm not sure why I'm able to be AF and why my BP is so low in the last week. It was so high on high dose bac and AL, then I continued low dose bac and AL and it went back to normal medicated 145/90.
Then I stopped AL and all carbs, started HCG shots, and it went down alot but still normal, but better at 128/82, around there for four days, then suddenly 112/50, so I eliminated one of my three BP pills. On only two pills and the low dose back, 124/69 today. I'm really hopeful with weight loss I'll be able to eliminate another pill.
At that point I'll remove the bac to see if it's also lowering my BP at this low dose, which it's supposed to do in some people. This would be a good drug for me to be on instead of beta blockers, because it's also calming.
Again, interesting stuff going on in my body. I'm feeling like a science experiment more than ever! I bet you bacsters can relate to that!
bleep, I'm planning on being very moderate, but I am going to let myself have a couple of cocktails at the off-site I'm going to mid-April. I don't want to gain all the weight back nor get all dependent emotionally and otherwise on the AL, so I'll be cautious. I'm thinking the diet is helping tremendously with the AF, and I'm suspecting the HCG is also helping with the cravings. It sure helps with food cravings. So it just goes to reason...
DG - I'm on porcine thyroid. You have a rockin' day yourself! :moon:
