I put Ferguson in my avatar. That's Mr. Doggy's older Schutzhund sport dog. Everyone should have a German Shepherd. One of these two is Cooper when he was a baby puppy. He's about 1.5 years old now.



I know what you mean about the bad times out weighing the good times with AL. I remember well the day in 2007 when I decided to drink after 60 days AF. It was a GORGEOUS indian summer kind of Saturday. Dog training was here that day I had a lot of fun taking pictures. As usual after training, the boys all cracked open a beer. Instead of disappearing into the house as I had been doing for two months of Saturdays, I sat on the porch with them. I thought a cold drink would be good. WHY WAS THERE VODKA IN MY HOUSE????? I thought if that drink didn't work out (moderate drinking :H) then I could just jump right back on the wagon. I can't even describe the 8 months of hell that followed. That taste brought all of my old cravings right back to life. I really don't want to make that mistake again. I don't want craving for alcohol coming back into my life again.

Anyway...enough of that. I hope your movie is a good one and it takes your mind off of your troubles. And off of horseface - please. Nobody deserves to have their mind on THAT!!!

PS, the bunny is always good to me, sugar free chocolate (despite the manitol) is my new savior. I am not worshiping false idols, it's just a sweet tooth peeps. The AL is the false idol. This fella is my current beau, the German Shep not the German horseteeth guy who neva had a chance, believes me. Mr Brazil however, had a chance, fleeting but only two weeks ago (almost). Sigh.

Thanks for the story on the lapse, it always helps a lush like me to see a success like you having a backslide, but then succeeding. I only wish more people who had issues like this (most of us) weren't embarrassed about posting them. Instead, we all think they're perfect while we measure ourselves as perfect losers. Meanwhile, we're all just human and AL's.

A poster Universal who posts in the Daily Abs threads just got a boxer / pug mix puppy who is adoreable!!

If only Bruun could have sneaked a piccy of the stripping hot brazillian boy. Life would be perfect then, yes???

So how are you today Bruun? Happy Easter!! Are you going to celebrate with some sugar free manitol laced chocolate? Are you going anywhere for a meal? I'm bracing myself for dinner with dad. Hate to say it that way, but on some other level it's a relief to be honest about how I feel. (instead of the dutiful daughter sounding crap) Anyway, in 5 - 6 hours it will be history. For now, I'm heading out for Run #1 of Week #2 Couch 2 5K. Hopefully more than 8 minutes of running today won't kill me. :H

Is, boxers make the all time cutest puppies, I about died when I saw one being walked down the street a few years ago. I like the picture by the toilet, or was that a bidet?

Alexan, I'm doing low dose bac, 25mg/day plus lithium orotate and xanax if needed at the witching hour.

A couple more pics, one of my boy and my recently deceased female. Please disregard the ear infection, it has since been cleared up!





Today 8 minutes of running would kill me, but this time next week it won't. That's my goal.

It's an AFer here for sure. Survived dinner with Dad. He was actually tolerable today. I think eating out is the way to go. He's a crazy wreck if we're cooking anywhere. It was very funny to have him be the only one at the table ordering a drink. What a turnabout! :H

So does this mean you are going to suffer through Couch to 5K with me????? :l :nutso:

Are you still tapering today? How is that going? (well, I'm sure it sucks but beyond that....)

SENDING POWERFUL THOUGHTS YOUR WAY BRUUN!!!!! :l It's still amazing to me how quickly booze (and for me, sugar too - I just know they are connected for me) can take me down to a very bad place SO FAST. And then it's just not easy to climb back out. I just have to stay away. (when will I finally "get" that with sugar?????)

Longshot - I love your doggies! That bridge in the video is really cool. Is that at your house? A park? Your doggies sure looked like they were having fun scampering across it! Toby seems to get by just fine!!!
