Safe, comfortable baclofen dosage reduction rate?

    From https://www.mywayout.org/community/f2...te-47900.html:

Bill Gorton;1054775 wrote: I recently received part of my first order of baclofen. I'm trying to find out how quickly I could reduce the dosage in a emergency (supply problem). My immediate aim is to figure out how many pills I need in reserve for tapering so I can figure out how high I can go in dosage until my second, larger order arrives. I'd also like to figure out what an appropriate reorder point is for the future. I will repost below a table that shows how many pills you need for various tapering rates and initial dosages. See this thread for more context.

Please post your experiences with rapid dosage reductions below. I know everybody is different, and WD severity depends also on how long you have taken it, but several data points might give myself and others a better idea of how we might react.

I would very strongly suggest decreasing no more than 10mg per week.

If you are using 20mg pills and want to plan for tapering off by the recommended 10mg (or half a pill per) week, this is how to use this chart:

I'm currently taking 200mg/day. To reduce by 10mg per week, I look at the "20" row for 20 doses of 10mg pills per day and follow over to the 1350 (10mg) pills I would need to keep on hand, and divide that number by 2 (because each of my 20mg pills equals 2 10mg ones) and that leaves me with 675 20mg pills. I ALWAYS HAVE AT LEAST THIS AMOUNT ON HAND.

Alternately, you can figure out how many pills you need (for 25mg pills for example) by taking your initial daily dose (let's say 100mg per day), using this formula:

    (100x7)+(90x7)+(80x7)+(70x7)+(60x7)+(50x7)+(40x7)+ (30x7)+(20x7)+(10x7)= 3850mg (total) divided by 25mg (pills) = 154 pills.

Lastly, when you get down to the lower dosages, 30 to 20 to 10 to 0 might be too big of a jump so you might want to add a big handful to your stash.

And I'm sure that there's an easy way to apply this to liquid bac, but I'm not going to take the time to do that right now, especially because I have no experience with the dosing.
