    BACLOFEN OR TOPOMAX

    Can someone please explain the difference between baclofen and topomax to me in laymen's terms. I can't decide which might help me more. Also, anyone from Canada able to order these meds online? If so, please let me know from where you got them?

    Hi Tip,

    Topa is an anti-seizure medication also used sometimes for migraine and anxiety, although if you look it up, it has all sorts of side effects. I only had the lessened appetite (which included drink appetite) and the lost words only lasted a few days. I only went up to 50mg, not sure what the current protocol is. My hair fell out so I stopped it, wish I could take it without that happening.

    Switched to baclofen and it's a much more difficult drug for me, the side effects are life altering. The medication is used for spasticity for MS patients at lower doses (80mg).
