another Antabuse question (sorry!)

Ok...sorry so many questions about antabuse...but I need to know. I want to dye my hair, My roots are very dark and it looks horrible. I read an old thread on here (from 2008) where someone taking Antabuse tried to dye their hair and got very sick. I am so scared of this. I asked my doc and pharmacist about it and they said they've never heard of this happening.

I've researched the internet and could not find anything about hair dye, just some people having reactions to perfumes or aftershave.

I know I could do a skin test first, but it that comes up fine, that doesn't really mean anything...my whole head would be saturated with the dye.

Has anyone had an issue with this?

Hi Fragile....I was so worried the first time I dyed my hair. No problem at all and I've had it done several times. Absolutely no reaction whatsoever. I have never had any problem with anything so far.
Don't worry about asking questions. Glad to help if I can. I had a lot of questions when I first started taking it.
