    My Birthday! Hello World!

    Hey

    Get my thread going!

    Major break through!

I finally told my boyfriend about the Bac. He got out of bed and said I am "weird"...
I took my pill at 2 this morning and left. NOTHING is more important than this journey..NOTHING.

I gave him this site and told him to read, read, read........
I love you honey..but, I finally can say to someone that I need to heal me...and for once..I LOVE ME!

      My Birthday! Hello World!

      Cool development Lush.

It's a great help to have someone who knows you personally in on the whole thing. They can help if the SE's get too much at times, and also just calm you down if you start feeling weird. Not only that, but just knowing someone else knows, and doesn't think you're mad, well, it helped me no end. We're all here, but we're all doing it as well, so you can expect support from us. External support is great.

He'll come round to the whole thing properly when he sees it's working, and after he's read a few threads. Hopefully he reads the right ones!

They have seen me go through hell and back!

Back Bleep...I can actually say "BACK"

          My Birthday! Hello World!

Well I'm glad he doesn't think it's "weird" to remain an alcoholic and not try to save yourself from a disease that will eventually kill you. Not to mention greatly reduce your quality of life and rob you of becoming everything you are meant to be.

Good for you for perservering. I love your attitude. You make me smile in my darkest hours, and I have had a few of late. Love ya lady!

Did I read you are already on 140 mg? Are you titrating up every 2 days or what? Are you doing okay going up that fast? You are racing to the finish line. If it's working that's great. I just went up to 60 mg today, but as you know I've had issues with trying to take this drug and work and family and blah, blah, blah! After work ends this week I need to aggressively do this. I was thinking of trying 20 mg every 3 days. Don't know if that'll be too much but I can only take off so much time.

20mg's every 3 days is plenty red - in 3 weeks you'll be on 260mg's. Any faster is probably unnecessary and may even be counterproductive (especially with what I'm reading on the French forum, more on that later).

Best of luck, we will all be cheering from the sidelines!

                Red,

Going to be out of line here......but "they" like me drunk. Guys don't be mad at me, it is just what I, ...as in me,... tend to attract.
I am going to sober up and they (BF's) don't tend to like and/or be afraid of the "new" me.........

Great form Lady, you must love yourself before you can love others, that's what I'm working on too! Save thyself! It's like on the airplane, first put your own O2 mask on before assisting others.

When you sign in, if you click the remember me box, you should have no problem getting kicked off. You should be there for as long as you like. This from experience years ago. (Can't vouch for that it's still true).

If you are worried about others logging in and being automatically recognized as LadyLush, just log out every time you are finished with your session, and then click the remember me box again when you start your session.

Hope this helps, and if I'm wrong, please inform me.

                              What NOT to do

                              Very funny/stupid/painful lesson about that:

I just logged out and in again to make sure that what I had told you was true (which it was) -- and I lost all the posts I was half-way through with that were on my desktop!
