Cheers Bleep, i guess its a double whammy of Bac and viral....i am just 'on' the whole time, finding it impossible to relax and sleep is a hard thing to come by, the headache is raging! Conclusive proof that this stuff does rewire your brain and evidence for sure that a massive jump not a good idea ! anyway, just gonna stick it out, a period of discmfort for a lifetime of no more alc problems is well worth it.
also realised I am running short of Bac, in belgium next week recording and its gonna arrive then - happen to know if there are any emergency docs in London where I can grab a supply?

Many Thanks to Murph who very kindly bailed me out of a dwindling Bac supply problem, top man
Still no results from MRI. In Belgium now, still taking 200 mg daily. My drinking really causing me very little concern at the mo, go out and have a few beers without any fear at all that I am gonna be anything but controlled and just enjoy it - that rocks. Still not feeling anywhere near 100% though. Headache has died down a little thank F*ck but just generally feeling a bit shit and not sleeping well. Dont think its got anything to do with Bac tho....think my body is just slowly recovering from the bender/bac gobbling/ensuing virus/bacterial infection/severe lack of sleep for a week blah blahdy....anyways, i repeat 'go out and have a few beers without any fear at all that I am gonna be anything but controlled and just enjoy it'

Baclofen gets carried out of the body through the kidneys. I've had issues with de-hydration, which gives me . . . headaches. Try drinking LOTS of liquids with electrolytes. Gatorade works; I buy Re-Charge at my local health food store.

Great stuff indeed that benders are being avoided so easily! And that the two week headache (!) is dwindling.

It could well be the the baclofen fucking with your sleep. 200mg's is a fair dose, and if I recall, I'm sure my sleep was disturbed at that dose.

Yep doing well but defo still gonna change my brand. It was when I saw the packaging on Murphs supply and compared to mine that I finally realised.....and today I opened my last strip and noticed 3 out of the 10 pills were the wrong way round! I am not suggesting there isn't some Real Bac in there but impossible to know doses/how real they are. anyway, gonna switch to Murph's, assume brand switching is ok? - reckon I should stick at 200mg or drop a bit to compensate?! guess I will just test the water.....

It's impossible to say whether mine are stronger or weaker than yours. I've only used this brand (from 4rx), except for the first few days when I used some from United Pharmacies but on a very low dose. People report different brands are different strengths and that they get different side effects from different brands, although I'm really not sure how much of that is the power of suggestion and wanting to find something to blame.

All I can say is the stuff I get from 4rx is kosher and I don't get bad side effects from it, but then again I'm not a pre-menopausal woman. Just kidding girls, I don't want to open up that debate again. :H

Charlie, whose to say whether your brand is kosher? Murph's definitely is though, or he's been lying to us this whole time.

When switching brands, don't do it all at once. Mix a couple of the new pills with your old ones, and gradually increase the ratio, until you are taking only new ones. Do it over a period of time, in case there is a difference. This way you'll absorb the difference gradually.

You pills being the wrong way around doesn't bode well for a nice clean production facility - I'm picturing some greasy street-kid hand packing the things by hand, picking his nose and bathing once a year whether he needs to or not.

Saying that, I've been forced to do the exact opposite. I have about 6 different brands as a result of the recent shortage, and no time to merge from one to the other, so it's often a completely new batch every time I take pills. So far so good though, luckily.

Ended up switching entirely to Murphs brand yesterday....took 150 mg without any prbs, in fact, its the best i have felt for three weeks! That other stuff I needed to get it out my system clearly. Have placed a sizeable order with 4rx too. Cheers M!
