    Stocked Up

Sorry it didnt work you for - be interested to hear/read your story. You sure you got to a high enough dose etc?! I know some have failed first time and succeeded second - maybe worth another shot?
I just made a large order so I'm all good cheers
I am well and truly in recovery, I thank Baclofen, the good people of MWO and my love of spirituality, the combination of which have helped to guide me out of the darkness in the last couple months. Cheers to that.

      Baclofen

      Hi Charlieboy!
You don't want to hear my story.... it's looooong!
And I did give Baclofen a good few months, went up to about 150mg a day, when I started to fall asleep on the bus (with my kids!!) and over dinner in a restaurant and the final straw was falling asleep over a bowl of cereal and spilling it all over myself :0(
So definitely not the cure for me!
Thanks for asking though! C xx

Pink, 150mg's isn't high enough. Nodding off is fairly common, and not the end of the world! There are supplements you can take that help this as well. Perhaps worth hanging on to your pills to see if you don't change your mind. You will find that most people read most threads, so posting on every thread won't help, I'm afraid... EDIT: Sorry, I see you aren't posting on every thread, it was just the first couple of threads I opened that you had posted on. Apologies.

Charlie, ya, as Tracy says, no need to panic, it's a known SE, just not a particularly pleasant one. Can't really help you, as it didn't happen to me. Maybe go to sleep on the loo! Since you aren't moving, you won't fall off. Can't see it helping with the stiffness though!

Re: the coke. Wouldn't panic there, I would treat it the same as the booze, in that it's no biggie if you have it now. Certainly could lead to a bender though! I wonder if the switch dose is the same? I'll ask on the French forum and see if they know. Alas, it seems you are our guinea pig in this one!

Charlie, it's lucky you'll never actually meet any of us in the flesh, 'cos I'd feel compelled to point at you and laugh after the bed-wetting revelation. Just kidding, it's no biggie. In fact I would imagine it's probably quite common for bac users considering the amount of fluids this stuff makes you drink. By writing about it here you've probably made a dozen lurkers feel a lot better knowing they aren't the only one it's happened to.

And in the big scheme of things it's a piddling (oops I mean trifling) little thing.

                Hey, Charlie.
The bed-wetting thing? That's VERY common. So common in fact, that I was rather diligent about emptying my bladder before I slept and getting up to do it again when my alarm went off for my last bac dose. I almost bought a rubber mattress pad, the kind they use for kids. seriously.

The neck stiffness? That one still freaks me out a bit. I assumed I was just sleeping wrong, initially, since bac-sleep is so profound. But it happened a couple of times during the day, shortly after I took the pills, so I knew it was the bac and not the sleep. I'd completely forgotten about it until you brought it up. It goes away.

glad your dealer wasn't prompt! Watch the video that Reggie posted (and Otter before him) about the coke and the brain scans, if you haven't already.
                :ls

Cheers Neva Yeah, the stiff neck thing will pass of course so no biggie....the SE's during the day are totally fine and on the whole, really rather like these great deep sleeps, the dreams rock!
                  Good day all

Chillin in country admittedly but no desire to drink silly amounts at all...
Have barely smoked this week either....

Oops, I realise this isn't eBay! Just got these pills and trying to get back some money, as I have spent loads on these....
Thanks for the advice, guys, but I must say that I am done with Baclofen. I really wanted it to work, tok it for months with ever increasing dosis, but I think what works for some, doesn't work for others.
And I personally can't take the side effects. It is great to see how Baclofen has worked for you guys! Really great.... maybe one day I will find something that works permanently for me too.

I hear you pink, sorry baclofen didn't work out. There are, as you say, many other methods. Have you looked around the forum? Dozens of them right here? There's other meds, as well. I'm partial to meds, it's the laziness in me, looking for the easy way out, I suppose!

Charlie, cool, I really enjoyed the E feeling, hope you do to. It's happening, here you go!

Baclofen causes your brain to produce oxytocin, which is also called the love hormone. Gives you a wonderful feeling of well-being, and your whole body tingles. It's very nice. E is short for ecstacy, because it's similar to the feeling produced by taking that drug...
