    Baclo-biceps

Ok I seriously feel like my guns are shrinking. Anyone experience muscle shrinkage? I haven't lost strength yet maybe it's all in my head?

I have noticed the same, mostly because I am completely inactive on bac.

I don't have huge biceps, thank God. But, I've been very lethargic on bac, and think that my body is going straight to hell. I hear that baclo-exercise is very good. I just can't seem to get there.

I can't get there either. I've tried mass amounts (that's 3 cups for me) of coffee but that just gives me the shakes.

Quite the opposite actually. Here's my take on it:

It doesn't address motivation though, which is something I've struggled with my whole life with regards to exercise. I now just think - to hell with it, it's a trade off. I won't exercise, so I won't be fit and sleek. I can live with that. Exercise is just too boring for me.

Plus, your muscles can actually change size depending on how much glycogen is stored in them at the moment. Glycogen is a fuel stored in your muscles that is made of simple carbs and water (basically). If you are de-carbed and dehydrated it can make your muscles actually appear physically smaller whilst still possessing the same amount of cells and fibers.

It might just be a personal experience, but I find that my attitude about exercise is self perpetuating.

What I mean is that, for me, if I approach it with that attitude then the next day I feel the same way (that it's boring or too much effort or w/e), and the next day, and on and on...in perpetuity. But if I approach it with a positive one it creates a positive feedback loop which has the opposite affect. I'll feel energized, ready for it day and actually crave it day after day after day....

I wish I felt motivated to exercise but I just don't.

Wow LoOp this is great news. Im quite a serious lifter and this could be a deal breaker from me but based on your experiences this could get me to finally break some long standing barriers. So far, I have had that sweet feeling that the 45's feel like dinner plates when I'm racking em so no complaints there.

                      Loop,

Why do some us do that feel that we can't exercise on bac? I think some of us want to keep our bodies, or improve them, but we just don't feel that can at the moment. What's up with that?

                            Gym can wait.

We all feel like that! I feel like that all the time! Push through those feelings! The rewards come when you place yourself outside of your comfort zone. That's where the sweet spot is, where it hurts just a little bit, not too much (there is a BIG difference).

                            Shock your body!!!

And it will shock you back...

Can't sleep but have to chime in. Exercise is great, I get up all young and chipper :-)
My PT (trainer) comes to my house 3 times a week at 5 in the morning. He is shocked I am ready to go! (p.s. not rich, just when I was mean, I RULED, got certain shit in my divorce!)
I think this sites' laughing has contributed to my weight loss. .... LoOp, Bleep, all, how many calories does laughing burn?
