Good to hear you are ok. I thought only Zim got power cuts! It's incredible how inconvenient it can be, having no power, especially if you aren't geared up for it. Here, everyone has generators, so when the power just randomly goes off for 8 hours, as it often does, we just nip outside and turn the generator on and life goes on as normal.
Hopefully you get power and normal life back soon!

Cindi and Baclofen
Friends,
This is a close out to my Baclofen thread. I had kept my mouth shut about the results of my tests.
My renal function tests were no good. Doctor has completely nixed the high dose Baclofen regime. I won't argue with her a bit.
My liver enzymes were slightly elevated but not too bad.
She wants me to go to a psychiatrist to be prescribed Naltrexone as that is completely out of her range of expertise. So I will. However, I have some on hand and have started it.
She did say I could take low dose Baclofen < 80 mgs/day IF I was extremely careful to drink lots of fluid AND not drink alcohol.
I hate to end the thread this way but it is what it is.
I ended up on a huge binge from this because I am so mature about adversity.
Nonetheless, I cannot begin to express my thanks and gratitude for all here who have been so supportive and kind. You mean so much to me. All of you.
Love,
CindiAF April 9, 2016

Cindi,
Hugs, well wishes and support from me!
There is certainly more than one way to skin a cat, and you have the wherewithall and commitment to find the solution. Of that I am sure.
I'm so glad that you proactively saw the doc and are listening to her advice. I know those things were on your mind before you even started the bac-regimine. It's the kind of thing I would have ignored until it was too late. Nal has some good results, as does low-dose-bac for curbing craving. As I said, I know you'll find a solution and I know that you have both a bucket of tools and an army of support.
:l and :h

(it doesn't preclude participating here, btw, does it? For all that I'm perceived as all-bac, all-the-time, I know that ain't the bottom line for many of us. I kinda like you and value your input. Hope you'll stick around!)
