    1 year 5 months

I was a fairly early adopter, starting Baclofen in July, 2009. I stopped drinking in November, 2009. I continue to take 150mg per day. I'll probably begin to gradually reduce my dosage at the 2 year mark (no SE's and things are going well, so I'm not in any hurry). I also take 125mg of Antabuse every morning (my security blanket). Baclofen works.

      Thank you PhotoMan,
A more curiosity, have you relapsed somewhere in the journey of 1 years and five months and how different the life you find being sober ? Why you are still taking Baclofen it is costly too ?
      Thanks for your long sobriety,

        No relapse

Completely AF for 1 year 5 months. It is expensive to continue taking Baclofen, but the alternative is far worse. I'm not particularly anxious to mess around with dosages just yet because everything is so good. I had a complete blood work up last month and things look great, so it's status quo for now. My life has changed for the better in too many ways to count. As they say, "If it aint broke, don't fix it."

Dixon, for months on end now you have been starting threads that ask the same questions repeatedly and have taken little or no action for yourself to find the answers for YOU.

I am glad that you are writing and posting. But of this I am sure: You will NEVER find a solution to the disease until you take direct ACTION for yourself. All of the info is here. I'll gladly post it and share it, as well as my own experience, if you would like that. And there are many others who have and will continue to do so.

I can tell you're in pain, what I can't tell is whether or not you are looking for help or something else. In order to find out if bac will work for you, at low doses or otherwise, you'll have to ORDER it and TAKE it. That's the only way, my alcoholic friend.
          just sayin

          3. Ne. Not just starting. (are you, really?) Found my way out. I'm here.
