I don't know the other person you're referring to. Did they reach the goal? Are you picking the right models or mentors? I hesitate to offer more advice for you to ignore, and I will also hesitate to walk you through the mess you might be headed for. But I've been proved wrong often enough to extend a hand and wish you luck.

Electrical Current Type Shooting Sensations??

Hi --

Has anyone experienced weird electronic neuronic tiny electrical current type regular random shooting sensations in their hands after a lot of sitting at the computer and typing?
This has never happened to me before and is only just happening as of this morning and my sitting on here for a long time and typing out that last post while on Baclofen for the 2nd or 3rd day.

LOL, yeah Alexan, the electric shocks in the hands thing is strange isn't it? With me it got to the point where my whole hands were suddenly slamming down on the keyboard. It made typing a slow old process. Don't worry it goes. I also had electric shocks and tingling in the legs at night. With some people it develops in to a full on leg spasm, but at the lower levels it's strange and interesting. Apparently some of the girls rather enjoy that SE.:H

I hope you sort some kinf of protocol and settle down alex, I get what your saying about wanting to get out of the mess, I'm finding it hard myself to be patient. I am on day 9 on bac but needing to function on some level during the day and also needing to drive is keeping me titrating slower. Its the end result we want but the journey there has to be manageable too I reckon,

Is there a comprehensive list of side effects on here? I seem to keep searching but its hard to find such a list. Plus with all the different abbreviations and what not its hard to know what to look for much less find it.

On this forum anything and everything is due to baclofen. Just as long as it's negative that is. If you believe the nay-sayers the list would be too long to read in one day.

I stubbed my toe yesterday. I'm sure someone will come along in a minute and say that also happened to them and they're positive it's due to baclofen.

Definitely not for the faint of heart, but it worked! On the third day I fell asleep after only drinking 2 1/2 drinks. That was the first day I fell asleep sober in as long as I could remember!

You don't have nerve damage. You're fine. If it bothers you that much then slow it down. If you can stick with it for a few days your SE's might dramatically abate, or at least become easily tolerable.

Can I ask you how many days in that series you stayed on that 250mg dose once you had achieved it on your 2nd and 3rd day? and when you started titrating down? Are you now on a maintenance dose and if so what might that be?

Guys -- This will all come in a detailed journal post later, BUT:

Last night I started titrating up and took my first Baclofen dose of 5mg. Didn't do anything like I already expected, so I took another 5mg an hour later (I was drinking beer too but more so because I'm also doing TSM / NAL (25mg) -- had about 4 to 5 units), that second 5mg didn't seem to do anything either so I took the remaining 10mg and waking up in the middle of the night another 10mg so have taken a total of 30mg on my first night! I only slept four hours though and really loopy and floaty at the same time today.

This morning I took 30mg -- Then some coffee and reading the TSM book because I'm still waiting on Ameisen -- So all in all, I have taken 60 mg in the last 15 hours and while technically its my first day but not if you count the fact that that was last night and this is today so different day?
I just had a meal. Wondering if I can take a 20mg dose now before I go run some afternoon errands.

Out of curiousity, how do I know when I'm indifferent?
Especially if I don't ever think about alcohol during day anyways (unless its a hair of the dog hangover related scenario)
