    official titration schedule?

Looking to start baclofen in the next couple of weeks - shipment is in the mail. Have done lots of reading on this forum, a little posting, here and there. What I have learned is that everyone *seems* to have their own individual titration schedules - up AND down. Some turtles, some hares, some meticulously planned and others more whimsical.....

all fine! I know we're all cowboys and outlaws here trying this drug out, but I guess my question is, is there some kind of general consensus as to the "official" titration up/down schedules? note that to me, "official" means a generally accepted baseline schedule that is typically modified at will by whoever is taking it? like, 5 mg up per day? 200 mg up per day? (just kidding) Does Dr. L have a fixed schedule?

if there is a thread out there, i'm happy to just get a link to it. thanks guys. hope this post isn't repetitive of others.

Getting Serious, I'm thrilled you're finally serious!!!!!!!!!!

It is difficult to "recommend" a schedule to you. I think you are asking for Dr L's schedule, though.

Now, and it changes daily, it seems.....sigh.

20mg for the first week: I broke it up, into 4 I believe.

Increase it by 20 mg a week. I wrote a titration schedule on beatle's thread, "notes for Dr L". It's more specific. I mean Dr L's schedule.

I personally ended up diverting from his plan. Let's hope others are here soon to help you organize a plan.

The best summary is probably to be found here:

Whichever schedule you choose, I would recommend breaking your dose up, to help alleviate the SE's. Everyone has their own theories in this area though, so ultimately, it's up to you. You can also experiment, and see which method works for you.

      Good luck.
