    dr. denied baclofen

I'm only up to 110mg Baclofen a day but it has made it so I don't drink in such a craze for sure. I think the way I'm understanding you that you are similar to me in that picturing not drinking at all is impossible right now. I've found that the Bac lets you get control over your drinking even if you aren't hardcore in wanting to stop. It may sort of work with the alcohol and make it last longer or something but I don't care how it works if I'm not doing crazy things I regret and consuming on an obsessive level.

Either way it seems to help both those that WANT to stop and those that NEED to stop or at least cut back. I don't think it's wrong to just think about wanting to cut back right now, it's a step in the right direction for sure. I've gone from 29 units alcohol per day to 10-15units without any effort and no crazy experiences I wished never happened, it seemed to take most of those away in the first few days of starting Baclofen. The cost in Baclofen is the same as the cost of the extra alcohol pretty much and I wake up feeling not hung over lately which does wonders for depression.

Oh and I agree don't drink with the Ambien. I ended up in adult stores playing with rubber butts or something which I had no memory of doing. I just came to and had to ask my girlfriend where the hell I was. I know alcohol can do the same thing but this intensifies that blackout effect by 1000X! Just make so you go to bed and stay there!
