Unfortunately it seems her book is not available for download, were you able to?

I'd want to know more about what treatment she uses - she mentions using chemicals to fight it, but doesn't go into specifics. My default reaction to this sort of thing is skepticism, but who knows? Based on what I now know, I'd be pretty confident that I could get rid of someones addiction, without the need for personal therapy.

I'm sure there are others setting up similar services, my counsellor is listing herself as working with addiction now - although only on the talking therapy side. Anyone can do it these days, we just have to be wary because most addicts are very vulnerable people and will hand money over quite easily if they think an answer is being offered. I did so many, many times with private treatment centres and was almost seriously considering Dr P who charges several thousand for his support package.
