    Anytime!

I think it's that someone like him doesn't come around very often. 99.99% of the people here it seems post for good reasons, so when a manipulative guy comes around with ulterior motives, people aren't expecting that. We'd all rather assume that the person behind the screen isn't some shirtless creep trying to take all our money.(Even when he's barely even trying to hide that fact) And most of the time we'd be right. I think we should give his time here a name, like the New year's Disaster, or the Hindenbac.

An undoubted tool of the highest order, that's Phill.

Please help me look! It was on one of his sites, either the baclofen4alcoholism.com or this one alcoholism-northwest.co.uk

You'll see what I mean about hard on the eye, don't say you weren't warned...!

OK bleep I'll give it another go. Although reading his posts hurt my head so much that I was actually able to drift out of consciousness for 20 minutes. 120 mg bac + AF = imsomnia.

Did you read that post of his I mentioned?

Wow I can't believe he has 2 of these terrible sites. Here's another gem:

"Born in 1961 in Greater Manchester, I have lead very varied but highly interesting and exciting personal and professional lives. Much has been both hugely enjoyable and highly successful. Some most definitely hasn't."

Translation: My life has been highly awesome. Yours most likely hasn't.

OK time to power thru this.

              I found nothing

Unless alcoholism-northwest.co.uk has a forum section that I missed, I didn't see any section that allowed comments. Although there are a ton of words on that site, so it's possible I missed something.

His other site has a forum section, and a spot for blogs and other stuff. I looked thru most of it, but no one's really posted much in any of those sections, so it's hard to imagine I missed anything.

              Sorry dude

No, they're huge wastelands. Perhaps the funniest/saddest parts though is how he's constantly talking about how he's being bombarded by emails from people who want him to push forward, and after much thought, he's reluctantly agreed to post more info, because you know, he's a nice guy like that.

The forums are funny. Here's a typical thread:

Guy #1: Dr. Phil, I came across your site from Google, and thank you so much for your brave posts! You are an honorable man. Tell me, do you think I can be cured?

Dr. Phil: Yes, you can be cured! I am saving alcoholics across the globe every day, and if you buy my book, you can be saved too! Here's my paypal account!

Guy#2: (Desperately trying to sound like he's not Dr. Phil) Oh Phil, bless your soul! If more people listened to you and paid you tons of money to SKype with you for an hour, the world would be saved! Please keep posting here!

                It's a freakshow

                        Priceless stuff.

Certainly better comedy that the TV script Phill says he wrote.

The sitcom was to have been called "Bedsard Manor" - a pun on "bedside manner", methinks?

But the best one is actually "Succubus" - which he describes as a large adult horror novel. Is it a horror story about large adults? In that case, it could well be his memoir...

I did make enquiries about his service, basically he can't prescribe Baclofen - he just guides you through the process of taking it, and provides a friendly ear to bend. He quoted the cost for his support as ?2500 for the first 3 months.
