    Seeing the doc tomorrow

Has anybody noticed that when we quit drinking we not only go for sweets but love to go shopping as well?
I haven't had a sudden urge to tear up the mall for shoes...yet. But I've become tormented by thoughts of sweets at night. I never used to like sweets. I always considered them as just empty calories. I preferred malt liquor :H

I've had the shopping thing big time, and the sweets thing, only problem that I added the AL back in and haven't stopped the other stuff. I currently own three more handbags than I did a year ago (didn't own one a year ago, just a briefcase) and two pints of Ben & Jerry's Americone Dream a la Stephen Colbert. Thought I apparently am not drinking enough because I could swear they changed the recipe for that ice cream and its not nearly as good as it was last go-round with B&J.

Keep us laughing Pete, like the new avitar. What date exactly is it that we should revert back from Halloween, avis, Monday? I don't want to be THAT uncool and keep the witches brewing that glowy shit too long. Could be making kombucha or something.

By the way, bought some scary ASS looking kombucha, GT's brand, stuff floating on both the top and the bottom. I think I got all yourses who had none, or maybe I'm just lucky and have extra funk. I'm still afraid to do the brew though, I think Is I'll find the mason jar first before launching into full-blown kombucha on tap using the ceramic dispenser WHICH I did have the presence of mind to find and clean out well with white vinegar. Using it challenges me because of the days in LA when I used it for water and found over time I was drinking mold or algae or both. Shiver me timbers.

I'm glad you asked. The general rule of thumb is no more than 16 hours after I do, however I can allow for certain exceptions, such as hurricanes or other natural disasters.

I eat sweets while shopping these days.

And if I leave my halloween avatar up until next easter, what happens then?

Then you'd be very uncool, indeed. However, if you brought it back FOR Easter, to be ironic, then you'd be REALLY cool. Even cooler than putting up a Santa dog avatar in July

It just occured to me how unfair life is today. Is is at a really fabulous party all dressed up for halloween and here we are talking about halloween avatars. It's hell getting old. Well, I'm old. What's your excuse Pete?

That's the good shit!! Mine has been brewing (supposedly) since Monday, and it doesn't look any different. I suppose I could buy a few more bottles and just keep adding the bits of mother to it...

I have become a more conservative shopper since starting baclofen. It's like how Dr. Amiesen stopped going and buying music all the time. And when I'm up on a high enough dose, I completely lose my taste for sweets. They've been slightly tempting me during this super low carb week, but I had a few bites of birthday cake at work yesterday (it was white cake w/white icing, I couldn't resist), and I found it revolting. I threw the majority of it out.

(And don't go hating, y'all know I've got a shitload of other problems! :H)

As for SP's avatar, Deadmau5 is always in season!!

Speaking of which, any recommendations Pete? I've only heard a few of their songs on my Slacker station. My favorite so far is Sometimes Things Get, Whatever.

I'm also a big Infected Mushroom fan. Do you like them at all? Got to see them in person at Burning Man! :h

I saw IM live exactly 1 year ago at Freaknight, which is a big Seattle Halloween "rave." Their set was pretty sweet, especially the crazy mushroom props they had on the stage

Here's some good Deadmau5 tracks: (Turn bass up to max)

So what's with all this moldy tea bullshit? Are you girls deliberately trying to get yeast infections? Like the thing PissyPete has growing on his junk?

Yup, it's a word and spelled correctly! My grandpa used to say that all the time. I don't think I've ever heard anyone else use it, ever.
