    Seeing the doc tomorrow

Yup, my grandmother used to say it too. There was a comic on XM yesterday whose first name was Orny, which made me think of ornery. Then I wondered what kind of nicknames he might have been teased w/growing up. Horny Orny came to mind.

What are your guys' favorite IM songs? They've changed quite a bit, from starting out as kind of a psytrance to a more techno/rock hybrid.
All I remember from their set last year was they had a ton of insane beat drops, like at 5:27 here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-oqLBnJ3vQ[/video]]Infected Mushroom - I'm the Supervisor - YouTube
Oddly enough they're coming to Seattle on Friday, which I found out randomly by looking up this song to link

The only one I know is the one where he says "cities of the future". Is and I are convinced he's talking about Black Rock City (Burningman). It's the closest thing on earth to a resource-based economy. It's more of a gifting/resource-based economy. Which IMO is humanity's only hope. Yes I'm a zeitgeist follower.

Yeah, it's called Cities of the Future and is the only other song I'd be able to name off the top of my head.

So after a quick search I now see that Burningman is a temporary community and not a music festival. Not sure why I always thought that Seems pretty cool though.

Is re-gifting OK, or is that viewed as lazy and lacking thought?

Re-gifting is perfectly acceptable! One man's trash is another man's treasure.

LOL when my husband cleans the garage (man cave) he puts stuff out to the street and then sits in the window and watches to see how long it takes someone to take it. It's pretty funny. There is some stuff that guys have taken and all I could think was "OMG if there is a woman at home, he is gonna be in BIG trouble!" We have re-homed a lot of "stuff." (junk)

So what is there to do for entertainment? I'm guessing a lot of it is bringing your own, and getting to know your neighbors? Are there many bands that play?

Oh yeah I like that youtube rehoming the garage junk idea, that's funny. The Infected Mushroom discussion almost made me vomit as I'm trying to food up before the witching hour and just ate half a dozen stuffed baby bellas. Maybe they were extra juicy because they were infected or had Pete CO inside. How's your funk, coming, Sick Pete? Is it less itchy? You have to eat less sweets to defunk your candida junk. Maybe its the reason for your premature re-avitation?

Okay, going to revert to my beloved sexy lioness unless I find something for the interim between now and for when I'm READY TO SEE XMAS AVITARS DOGGY GIRL. Xmas before Thanksgiving makes me ... feel very doggy in a decidely evil way, especially since I JUST went for another day of errands where I forgot to buy halloween candy. Crap. Halloween crap.

I just cleaned out some of my junk/junkish stuff from my ... errr ... chick-cave and took it this morning to a charity shop. Apparently, some of it was such crap they wanted me to take it away again. Ungrateful buggers ... err ... I mean ... ummm ... jerks or something equally American and appropriate.

Anyway, right on sistah! I can't believe I just said "sistah"

                          Yeehaw! etc etc

OK, if anyone else is tempted to buy hemp powder protein shakes, don't be, unless you enjoy the taste of dog's butt-holes.

Oh Pete, for you that's not a warning, it's a recommendation.

I was able to walk out unscathed, but when I went to the grocery store the other day I was blindsided by all the cookies and bakery treats they have at the front. I don't think I've ever even so much as looked at them before, but it was a terrifying experience to say the least. Just got back from seeing the life coach/therapist, and we figured out I'm incapable of giving myself positive affirmations at the moment. It just seems natural to think about how shitty I am
She wants me to ask for feedback from people on positive things I do. This is gonna be torture.

I'm also wondering about my sweet tooth. I don't know if I've opened the floodgates and I'm now cursed to a life of craving chocolate, or it's a result of cutting back on carbs. :new:
