So, cut to the chase...I am well aware of The Sinclair Method. But since I have been taking the Naltrexone, I tend to drink the same. With Naltrexone, I can drink all day and not really get drunk, can function much better, I don't black out at night or cause arguments with my wife, and I do not have substantial hangovers. So, it seems like so far Naltrexone is allowing me to continue to drink heavily without the bad consequences (aside from what I am doing to my liver). I am 48, and I really have to quit or greatly reduce this beer thing. Been drinking all day...am strangely buzzed, yet clear headed. No anger. The ability to be compassionate toward others and their needs without going off my rocker in drunken angry stupor.
So, I am just posting my experience if this science /experiment project called "The Sinclair Method." I would be interested in anyone else's expression of their experience with Naltrexone. I have been through outpatient rehab and to AA, but those have not worked. I gave it a try, but did not get well enough from it. I don't like AA. So, hey to you out there>
