Glad you made it home safely, Joe. Glad you made it to the hospital safely.
I agree with the others, and especially Tip. No one EVER feels like drinking after a bender. And that was a spectacular-ish bender. In a day or two when you feel much, much better, it might seem like the thing to do is to have a beer.
Stay close. Hang in. Take good care of yourself.

I actually thought they'd kept my Bac - just walked into the kitchen an they're sitting there :P I had some more on order anyways, but yeah hrrmm. Still feeling a bit weak / shaky this morning so I think I need to give it a bit more time before putting anything else in my body. At least the options still open!

That's good. If you keep seeing them you will think of taking them eventually but I bet you'll do it slowly next time
The good thing is that drinking while starting on it doesn't seem to make it not work so even if your doing bad you can always try starting again. If you go slow like my schedule I bet you don't feel any bad side effects for awhile(DrL seems to swear by it). I don't think I've gotten much of a toxic or bad feeling yet. I could understand not wanting to take em if you aren't feeling too well, bac could of caused me to get sick the other day but it's hard to tell.Check out my Baclofen journey at http://baclofen4addiction.blogspot.com

Oh good you're back, was a little bit worried that you hadn't been around
Go easy on yourself, you are going through hard stuff at the moment. I'm no expert but just have another try when you are ready and try to stay positive. I am new to all this and would love to offer more practical advice but just hang in there mister, thinking of you

yeah, joe, hang in there. and i bet you WILL be careful w the bac after all of that. and i agree that you might oughtta take some now, just a tiny bit, maybe 5 mg w some food, just to get the stuff bac to work on your brain. you'll be closer to it working 'now' if you do.
good luck, joe, i don't envy you one bit. i have often thought about how much worse my drinking could have gotten if i hadn't started w the bac, and i shudder to think about it. it looks like a positively terrifying ride!
chin up, lots of water and rest, and eyes on the prize!

Back on the bac!
I'm a little concerned about finances though. I'm really bad for the whole head-in-the-sand syndrome when it comes to bills, trying to get everything organised now and it seems I'll need around ?48.80 a week for bac once the dosage gets higher. With everything else taken into account, it's quite a steep amount. Thats going from buying 100 x 25mg and a high dose of 300mg a day. Especially without hitting the switch and drinking in the meantime hrrmm.

I'm sure it'll be pricier at the beginning but once you aren't drinking it should come out about even or even saving money I bet. Also when we can think straight finances become less of a problem as well. I've found that out during periods of somewhat soberness I did pretty well with that but I am totally flat broke while messed up. so just a thought.
Glad your back on the Bac though!Check out my Baclofen journey at http://baclofen4addiction.blogspot.com

I'm gonna use this post as a low-key dosage / drink placeholder for myself. I kinda ruined this thread with what happened so meh! Short and sweet. Cut the drinking down from before what happened, so thats a plus. Getting an appointment with the alcohol and drugs team, and seeing my GP on Friday morning. Also sent my application for financial support to the open university for a computing degree. Not too hopeful about getting it as I've started university a couple of times in the past and mental health issues have led to me leaving hrrmm. Anyways..
27/06/11 - 10mg before bed. 6 Stellas.
28/06/11 - 15mg before bed. 2 Stellas + 1 bottle of wine.
29/06/11 - 35mg. 3 x 5mg spread out over the day + 20mg before bed. 1 bottle of wine + 2 stellas.

Which website is this Murphyx? When I worked it out I was working it out as full boxes of meds (100 pills in quantity x 25mg) + shipping etc. Whilst theres still some left over at 300mg/day for a week from a box of 100 x 25mg, the amount left over doesnt constitute a full box.. i.e. you'd still have to pay for another box either way (+ shipping), so the actual price per pill doesn't make much difference either way?
Saying that, you quoted $0.58 per pill and 4rx.com is $0.59.. and I have goldpharma in GBP
