How quickly can I go down

my dogs would bark a greeting to an intruder before beginning the lick-fest. A shotgun is like any other gun. You point the pointy end toward the bad guy. The nice thing about shotguns is that aim doesn't matter much. If a shot in the general vicinity doesn't work, the sound of re-cocking will. It's a very scary sound if you are on the wrong side of the muzzle.

bottlestopper I was not talking about hobbies. I was talking about bullying your own brain. If I would rather sit here and think about shotguns and what they can do, I don't do that. I look at pictures of kittens, I walk along the creek, I visit the animal shelter, I go to the florist shop and smell all the flowers. I go to the last places my scared, dark brain wants to go. Instead of letting that MF drag me around to where it wants, I force it to go where I would rather be. It really is a bully, and I really need to bully it back, with kittens and flowers and humor and pretty things and trees and rivers and fresh air and critters and "all the things." It's not so much about hobbies but they help too.

That is EXACTLY the point. Nice, Silly. Perhaps it was you that posted about finding the happy stuff? I got you confused with Gotta Stop. Boy is she going to think I'm a little nuts when she reads what I wrote on some other thread. Sorry for the mix up. Anyway. Put bluntly, fuck the hobbies. You don't have time for hobbies. This is war and you want to win. So think happy thoughts. The rest was put better by anything-but-Silly than I could ever write. Nice.

How quickly can I go down

I'm confused about who posted what. I do hobbies. I like my hobbies. I have time for hobbies. I don't do war ever, not in politics and not personally. I don't want to win anything. I want to live as peacefully as I can.

I'm confused, but I am very sure that I do not do war. Don't "fuck the hobbies." Screw war. If war somehow translates into "happy thoughts," screw those too. But war has nothing to do with any kind of goodness, and my post had nothing to do with war.

My posts here have been aimed for the benefit of the one who started the thread. I hope that my posts have been helpful to that person. I'm going to bow out now because like I said, I don't do war and I do not hang out in dark places.

Complete misinterpretation of what NE meant. We want to win against this disease. We want to beat it. Killing the beast with bac can feel like war. Hobbies are great, although they sometimes have to be put aside while we're slaying this disease.

How quickly can I go down

            Hi stopper,

I have posted before about having had sleep apnea that was caused by a combination of anti depressants, so i totally understand the hell you are going through. In fact it has made me give serious consideration to whether i am prepared to go up with bac because i dont think i could live with it again.

I don't know whether bac does or doesn't cause sleep apnea, but here are my non medically educated thoughts...Baclofen is a CNS depressant, and CNS depression causes central sleep apnea. I don't know if it can cause obstructive sleep apnea because of the muscle relaxant properties, but quite reasonably it could cause central sleep apnea from CNS depression. I think this type of apnea is more common when it is caused by meds.

So with this in mind i just wanted to share that when i had it from meds, it didn't go away straight away, but it really didn't take that long. My non scientific understanding is that your brain stops monitoring oxygen levels in your sleep as a result of the apnea and starts monitoring carbon dioxide instead, but when the cause is gone then it retrains itself back to normal and then no more sleep problems!

Good luck and good sleep to you xx
