Hey, Dose-O: At the risk of being repetitive, which I am, actually, over and over, if you're craving sugar, head FULL ON to L-Glutamine. Here are a couple of MWO threads to read:

And also, repeating myself endlessly, take a LOT. But good quality powdered L-Glute. Most of them dose (ahahaha) at around 4500-5000 mg/teaspoon. I take a heaping TABLESPOONFUL twice a day. That's at least 20 grams, and probably more. Those are the levels that start making a noticeable difference, in my experience (I guess that would be IME?).
Blood sugar goes rock-steady. Hunger for everything, and especially carbs, goes way down, as well, IME. Other really good things happened for me when I started doing lots of brain-healing supplements, but the L-Glute and All-One were the original cornerstones, and they still stand. Good luck!!
