    Shotgun Opera Lock and Load

Seems like 0800, 1200, and 1600 would work out just fine. Were you in the military or something, wtf? :H

I don't take Adderall anymore, just saying that when I pop bac at night it keeps me up. I'm at 150 mg and my last dose is usually 3 or more hours before I sleep. This is less of a concern once you've been on it awhile, but if you're titrating up I'd say leave a few hours between your last dose and when you sleep. And your last chimichanga...

Haha yes I am in military time and I just find it much easier than typing 6:00 pm than 1800. I sleep at about 2300 or (1100pm). I am nervous about taking bac later than 1800 (6 pm) and just wondering if anyone else does? I dont want side effects,

:H yah I find it easier to use military time. Chimichangas are tasty late night, sometimes even better than tacos and corn dogs.

Haha.. someone voted my thread "Terrible" and it now has one star. I am pretty sure it was the professional victim, but I'm sure this isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Anyhow, I am still on 20-20-20 and have nothing new to report. The side effects seem to go down the longer I am on a set dose and the titrate seems to be good at +20 a week.

No new side effects, just the sleepy / spacey feeling.

          Hope you're all good,

Lol thanks. I just called Dr. L at his home for my weekly session. He is an exceptionally nice guy who was willing to help without asking me for a penny. He needs to make a living and I explained that I am a bit short on cash, so he's helping first and saying we can work it out later. I asked him about dosing times and he told me to take my last dose a few hours before bed. So I think I'll be doing 0800, 1400, and 2000. That should give me a nice steady dose around the clock being lowest when I am in lala land.

Hey Dose - just read through your thread and wanted to say that it sounds like you're doing well. I remember some of those fun little SEs at the lower bac levels! I rather liked the hallucinations/light effects when I closed my eyes. It reminded me of coming down from E. :H
Anyway, I think the way you've got your dose spread out sounds good. I take my last dose of bac about an hour before I go to bed and don't find that it affects my sleep any more than if I take it earlier.

Good luck! I look forward to following your progress!

dose! i can't believe it has taken me so long to come back here! i'll be jumping over to rate your thread five stars soon's i'm done with my response to this lovely cup of tea.

those pretty colors, my gosh they were scary at first, but i've grown rather fond of them. i totally get your concern about bac before bed. i take 190 a day and tend to forget to slip pills down my gulley often enough during the day. that leaves me sometimes with 80 -sometimes even 100- to consume before sleep (or during my frequent pre-midnight wakings). the result, i must report, is rather stunning. this morning it was fuscia when i closed my lids. it might've been orange when i opened them. as i've reported in explicit detail and you may have read on my thread, i look forward to my bac-induced z's. and hallucinations and wild, vivid dreams. i say give it a try. having that knock-down somnolence during the day can be a real, literal drag.

reading all those posts of murph's made me sad.

and montoya, huh? a good friend and quite fetching model in my neighborhood has that surname. are you her brother? if so, i'd sure like to meet you, assuming the family genetics were as kind to you.

okay, new comrade, i'll see you on the boards!

So Rudy, when you take a lot of bac before bed you actually sleep well?? Wow. Whenever I get up over 140mgs, I start to toss and turn all through the night. And the higher I go up, the less I start sleeping, and I'll start getting straight up insomnia to where I lie awake for hours. I always tried taking LESS before bed in order to remedy that. Maybe I will give your way a try one day and see how it goes! I do miss the fun psychadelic sides. Aside from the tossing and turning, I haven't been getting SEs any at all while titrating up this time. I usually at least have tinnitus by now (not that I miss THAT SE! :H). Bumping up to 180 tomorrow, so we'll see what happens.

                            Hey Dosage,
I am psyched I came across this thread... Especially because I just started my baclofen journey today! It is nice to have access to your experiences in the first days. Has this thread made it easier for you to cope with the effects of early dosing of bac? I am thinking of doing the same to rely on the support of the people on this forum. Much luck!
Hit "the switch" at 190 mg/day on 11/10/11... Thanks to Dr. A, Dr. L, and all that have supported my journey on MWO!!:guitar1:

howdy guys and dolls! (ooops, is 'dolls' sexist? should i delete it before i get banned?!)

bobsd, you know your handle looks an awful lot like bobsled? i'd like to meet you, too, as i am very much into winter sports, and so is my son. (oh god, is that one of the things i should "not" do?! i don't want to get banned for sexual harassment!) but yes, you should post on others' threads to show your support. it's very, very valuable, to you and to those who read it (many of whom we never see).

oh wait, was it slip who said he'd try to do that?! oh god, now i've really gone and fucked up. oh shit, now i've sworn! dammit, i'm doomed. (pardon me, lads, i've just read one of those annoying threads that get my panties in a twist.)

is, (i love that nickname for you, it reminds me of the word 'be'. i'm guessing it fits you like a glove, which is like a condom for a rock star. oops, there i go again. guess i've met up with murph's medium and i've begun channeling that nasty bastard. i mean welshman. same thing. oh god, now i'm pulling the race card! help me out of this, good people!).

                                restart.

so is, yes, i sleep pretty darn well. the dreams from the other side thrill me. i wake up several times a night, sometimes thinking i've been out for hours, only to find that i've been asleep for one. i never had such interrupted sleep before bac, but i wake up leagues more rested than when i was drinking. i don;t mind the hallucinations; they're fun. i'm only a little bit scared when ropes and strings decorate my ceiling. the tapestries of changing colors are very pretty. so, yes, i take bunches of bac just before bed and it's treating me very well as an alcohol-recovery treatment!

dose, isn't it great to find what comes up on your own thread?! (btw, great title for it!) note to all lurkers and visitors without home threads: if you start your own, imagine the fun you;ll have! in honor of the poster whose signature quotes dr seuss, 'oh the places you'll go!'

                                love y'all!
