    Alice in MWO

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Seriously, this enormous release of steam (or whatever) is all probably for the best. The pressures have been building for many months.

The MWO meds forum may not be the very best way for the baclofen community to get the word out, support those who want to see if baclofen works for them and who are working through its challenges, and follow clinical testing developments. Or maybe it is...

But its certainly a time to reflect and consider how best to accomplish the goals of the community. We'll get past this and the miracle of bac will still be there for those who go for it.

"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don’t much care where--" said Alice.
"Then it doesn’t matter which way you go," said the Cat.
"--so long as I get SOMEWHERE," Alice added as an explanation.
"Oh, you’re sure to do that," said the Cat, "if you only walk long enough."

With huge admiration for the many courageous and compassionate folks on this board who have led the way. It ain't easy.

Shit, Cassander, I think this is sweet and brilliant, and I'm surprised more people didn't pounce on it. (I used to have the second quote on a beautiful framed illustration from Alice in Wonderland) I know I'm not aware of every single instance of drama around here, but I know it's gotten pretty viscous (sp?) at points. I second your sentiment and thought it was lovely way to express it. Thanks.
"Yet someday this will have an end
All choices made or choice resigned,
And in your face the literal eye
    Trace little of your history,
Nor ever piece the tale entire
Of villages that had to burn
And playgrounds of the will destroyed
Before you could be safe from time
And gather in your brow and air
    The stillness of antiquity."

            We're all mad here

            Beautifully and poignantly expressed, Cassander.

'Now, I give you fair warning,' shouted the Queen, stamping on the ground as she spoke; 'either you or your head must be off, and that in about half no time! Take your choice!'

'Nonsense!' said Alice, very loudly and decidedly, and the Queen was silent.

Said Alice: 'They're dreadfully fond of beheading people here; the great wonder is, that there's any one left alive!'
