I dont know if anyone that posts in this section is aware or not, but we were notified by a family member that FoamFollower passed away at the end of July. This is posted in the General Discussion section if people want to leave words of sympathy.
    So sad.

Have posted on other thread to also some one rates this thread with a star as terrible,

I do wonder if that was terrible for what happened or terrible for posting this here ?

        Mario,
I am not sure. I do want to express my feelings here, not for drama but I am just dissappointed. If anyone wants to say anything that is not constructive, please PM me rather than risk another blow up. I am confused and bothered that no one from this section of the forum paid any respects to a fellow member that has passed on. We are all here for the same reason, no matter what section of the forum we post in - I would be very discouraged if the reason is because he did not post in the Meds section (God I hate this whole perception that you are either a member of the meds section or you are a member of the General Discussion section). Again, just something that I am trying to understand, not something I want to debate.
        Peace everyone.

I find it extremely difficult to express my grief that another person, anywhere, anytime, is gone. It feels, to me, too little, too late. And expressing condolences here also does not feel right. For me.

Thank you for reminding all of us that the struggle continues, regardless of where it's posted.

I think what happens is that (some) people post in one section or the other, without reading the opposite one to keep up with the news there. I do this, for one, but purely because I have more of an interest in the medication treatment of alcohol dependence, not out of any dislike towards other approaches. Unfortunately this can mean missing out on important news, and sad news in this case.

RIP Foam Follower, I didn't know you but anyone's passing is always a great loss.
