    Baclofen plus Campral anyone?

I'm curious to know if anyone here has combined baclofen and Campral as an attempted way of combatting alcohol cravings? I don't think there is any scientific literature on this, but I'm wondering if combining the two could allow success while not needing such a high baclofen dose? They are both supposed to be 'GABAergic' substances, although not working exactly the same way.

Please note this isn't a suggestion that anyone actually do this, just a question as to whether anyone on the forum has tried it.

    Hey Greg,

My doctor who prescribes my bac wanted to do this for me. It was pretty cost prohibitive, as each Campral pill cost exactly 32x a 10mg bac pill for me with insurance. I know that's not answering your question, but my doc at least thought it was a good idea to try, so you might be on to something.

I'm interested in this aswell. I wonder is it safe to combine the two medications?

I would also be interested to know this as I get campral of my doctor and dont have to pay for it and will be buying bac on-line. I also get no side effects off campral but dont get relief from cravings either.
