I suspect you have me confused with another. I am Brenda and I am a chick.

It's good to make clear that you are female. Otherwise someone might confuse your gender since there are so many guys out there named Brenda.

Is there a link to the radio interview or the transcript of it somewhere?

That's an interesting stance you're taking there GingerDust: be rude about my post and then ask for my help. Hmmmm, am I inclined to help you? Now let me see...........

No idea. Google is your friend.

That part got me convinced of her name and gender. Welcome Brenda!

ifulovelife 2. Thank you for the link. However, it has nothing to do with Dr. Ameisen.

DrunkAndTired, if you read the whole story it does mention Dr. Ameisen on the radio today:

Louie also will welcome back to the show French cadiologist Dr Olivier Ameisen to give an update on his discovery - curing"addiction with the generic drug baclofen.
Locally, Community Corrections Association in Youngstown is doing a pilot programme using baclofen under the supervision of Dr. John Vargo. Dr Billak of CCA reportsa a more that 90 percent success rate, with only two relapses over the last year.

I can't find an archive (yet) on this page: Youngstown News, Brainfood from the Heartland - The Louie b. Free Radio Show, did anyone get a chance to listen to it today?

                    oops, wrong thread...
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

tk - For some reason it isn't letting me quote you and post this underneath. So here is my response. =)

You are correct. However, that is all the article said in regards to Dr. Ameisen. I assumed that the link that was posted would have more info as to what is going to be talked about, or what is new in the field that Dr. Ameisen has been working in with regards to baclofen. This is why I said that it doesn't have anything to do with Dr. Ameisen. Thankfully, I have found a new good book to read. =)
