    Day One on Baclofen

I have received Baclofen from my doctor and last night I took a 20mg dose. Supposed to take 20mg for 3 days then up to 40mg. I took the Baclofen last night and I woke up feeling very out of and just sluggish. Does this go away?

    Day One on Baclofen

Hi, guy from NC! I'm in SE VA.
I saw you on another thread in another part of the forum early this morning and thought, "huh, I should send him some info about bac!" Funny that.

It goes away. Are you drinking or abstinent?

Your doc suggested and prescribed it? That's cool.

      Day One on Baclofen

I am still drinking on it I couldnt go a day, maybe thats why the foggy head daze set in. IM still trying to see if it should be taken after alchol is completly out of your system or take a few hour or when after your last drink? Thats something I cannot find with all the searching and I asked Doc and have yet to get a call back. I am fiquring use some commmon sense and go the 24 hour way since alchol is totally out in 24 hours? I know this site cant be medical help but doctor wont call back. getting frustrated craving are awful.

It is safe to take concurrently with alcohol. Save the fact that many (not all) swear that it makes the SE's of baclofen worse and the hangovers from alcohol worse.

Most of us drank right up until reaching the "switch". However, those of us that were able to stay abstinent, in general (I think), have reported fewer side effects and maybe taken less of a high dose to reach the "switch".
