Happy New Year Pronoia, and also Nelz, it's great that you have been able to spend this NYE without alcohol. I managed to spend my whole Christmas and New Year of 2010-2011 totally alcohol free. This showed me that I was able to enjoy these times without alcohol, and I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything by not drinking. Many other people just looked like foolish drunken yobbos to me, rather than people having genuine fun. I hope you are both able to keep enjoying alcohol free times.
