    In memoriam

    My friend Michelle shot herself yesterday. Though she rarely visited MWO, I met her here. She lived about 5 miles from me. It was her 7 month anniversary.

    I wish, when she told me that she could not live another moment, I had heeded that cry for help with a sense of urgency. I wish I had not felt certain that others could make sure that she got the help she needed.

    I wish that she was not another casualty of this disease.

    I mark it here because there is nowhere else for so many of us. She is the fourth suicide I know of since I signed on here two years ago this month.

    I hope that she will be remembered well and fully. I know I will not forget.

      Oh Neva...what was here name here??? It wasn't lil michelle was it???
      I had a friend shoot herself last week while wasted.......I am still floored and angry

                NE - I am SO sorry for your loss...and Mama Bear, I am sorry for your loss as well. This is so sad.

                    thanks...my friend would not have done it if she had not been wasted.....she got in a fight with her husband...stormed down the hall...and boom....now she's gone and we all have to live with the aftermath. It sucks.......

                      Awful tragedies. I'm so sorry. Terrible reminders of how deadly the diseases of addiction and depression can be. My heart goes out to everyone invloved.
