Advice/ help please

Hi there, I have been on baclofen for quite a while now and am currently on 150 mg per day. My problem is that I have been vomiting since last night and have only managed to keep down a 40 mg dose of baclofen. I am not worried about the drinking as even the thought of alcohol makes me want to vomit again, but I am worried about the baclofen withdrawal as I have read many horror stories. If I don't take anymore until tomorrow night, as at the moment the thought of swallowing any just makes me vomit, will I experience withdrawal symptoms? Any advise or past experiences would be greatly appreciated x

egad. I'm sorry you feel so awful!

I can't say whether or not you should force it down. Especially if you can't keep it down! It depends on the specifics, I guess. And even then, it's ultimately up to how you're feeling.

Is there something special about tomorrow night?

I cannot really help much, but I came off 80mg a day with zero side effects.
I see in your first post you have experience with unpleasant withdrawal symptoms, if you cannot take any Bac due to Vomiting, maybe you should see a Dr.

I came down from I think 150-180mg over the space of a week (although can't remember exactly), and was fine. Also made jumps from 180 - 100 in 24 hours because I was just fed up and couldn't bear to take any more without issue. I'd been on these doses for 4 weeks or more and had taken baclofen for around 3-4 months continuously before the final drop off. During this final drop I did have one funny turn, just a moment where I didn't feel quite right and a 20mg dose corrected it fairly rapidly.

The withdrawls are serious, but don't always happen. Listen to your body I often say, but if in doubt seek medical advice, or at least support.

I just said tomorrow night as an example as my partner and wee one have had this bug and it lasted around 48 hours. The last time I had those horrible side effects I was going through chemotherapy and stopped the baclofen so am not sure how much was baclofen and how much was chemotherapy. I took 40mg again with a drink of milk but 5 mins later it all back up again. We just see what the night brings but thankfully no want or reason to drink so every cloud and all that x thanks for ur help guys x
