        Gringo
Do you think it is possible to hit the switch at a low dose for anyone just starting out? It all sounds very confusing to me. I am just wondering how long you have been on Bac. I just got some today and I am scared to take it. Think I will wait till the weekend just to be absolutely sure about the SE

azurmyst- I have seen so many threads / posts from different folks that I think it is very possible. Everyone is different. I was a problem drinker for a long time so who knows what I need to get to. Maybe I did not even need to be that high and I am just approaching it wrong. Maybe I will go back up some time. I just know I need a break and have to join my fellow earthlings for a while.
When I am mixing up reality with dreams it's getting a little too much.

I think you should try it. I had no issues with the low doses. You might hit your switch early. You might not even get much for SE's. Every path is different. My wife thinks I should spread my doses out more. Dr L said no but I am realizing maybe that's the way to go but I just don't want to keep taking pills even more often than I do now. It's sad I have to put reminders on my phone/computers so I don't miss.

So please don't let me be the person to dissuade you. I thought I had hit my switch earlier but it did not take. I am still better off and I don't miss hangovers.

I think you should try it and start off slowly. Give your body time and see how it feels. Report back on how things are going. There are a lot of folks that can help you here. Think positive. I am. I got 5 hours of sleep last night which is awesome for me so I have a good day ahead.

I think increased anxiety on HDB (really-high-HDB) is almost universal.
Before I got my husband on the xanax bandwagon (which Lo0p kept insisting was the right thing...for me. Long before this whole experiment) I looked into what and how xanax works. And why. Before I get all long winded:

Anxiety can't be controlled (with a pill) in the moment. It just can't. It has to be consistent. Systemic chemical anxiety is controlled (with a pill) with prevention.
The first night Ed was restless in his sleep and woke with a bad dream, he started taking .25 in the morning and .25 at night. That's it. Every day. For a couple of weeks. That's it. He never lost a night's sleep. He never had insomnia, bad dreams (though he had some vivid ones), or any of the other panic-related things I had. He had several of the really fun SEs.

You are probably the only long time bac person who still posts regularly I think and Im so glad you do, its fantastic that people have got the help they need and have gone on with their lives but its even better when you are still here.
I asked because I reckoned if I didnt understand what you meant then other peeps might not either, and some might not like to ask, also there are peeps who just come on here to read and dont post and get help that way. It would be cool if they would just put there head round the door tho and say hello :hello: but it doesnt really matter either way.
Thanks for that Space. All of it. And thanks for asking. You really have no idea how much you give, and mean to me in particular. Thanks for that, too.

              :H:H:H

It's hard to keep track of it all on HDB.
