    What does a baclofen prescription really cost?

    I have ordered about $300.00 worth of bac that has yet to arrive from online pharmacies. If...IF I go to HDB will want to know the least expensive route. For you in the US...what's the least expensive way that you have found?

    best to call Dr l and get a scrip if you have insurance. If not online is about the only method. Look at it this way, eventually you will save money from not drinking.

      I've enjoyed your posts...I love this place too and it made me grin to read that. We rock.

      I don't know how much the overseas stuff is, but you can figure it out...

      Take a pretty high estimate of what you think you'll take. Then double it! :H If they're sold in 20mg pills, you just divide it all up. (Now mind you, when I was still drinking, I found this particularly challenging. Not because I couldn't multiply and divide, ** but because the amount of bac people talked about was a bit mind blowing. So you can take it easy with yourself about this...really. Particularly if you're in the states. But there are also those of us overseas who can help out in an emergency.)

      So. Let's say 200mg is a "goal" of sorts. 10 pills a day. It'll take you...
      First 7 days=110mg/week
      Next 7= 350mg/wk (50mg/day)
      Next 7= 490mg/wk (70mg/day)
      Wk4= 630mg/wk (90mg/day)
      Approximately 1580mg for the first month. 1600/20=80 pills. hmmm. This doesn't seem right. Plus I know that there is a guy who did this really impressive titration schedule and cost sheet in a chart. It's around here, but honestly I have no idea where to find it.

      And hopefully that'll give you an idea and you can figure it out...

      Expensive maybe, but in the end, the cost/benefit analysis? Priceless...

      Just make sure that you order in more than enough time OR you reach out here if it looks like you're going to get caught short. Before you are out!! :H Mail is a lot cheaper than FedEx and you don't want to run out. Really. That's not fun.
