    Here I go again

    Here I go again.
    I feel so silly.
    I made the same mistake. Last time it was Scot98 (thank you, Scot!) who saved me.
    This time I was running out of supply and ordered baclofen from Riverpharmacy on 22nd of May. Usually I get it within 5-6 days.
    They seem to have lost it!

    Parcelforce website only shows that this parcel is in North London depot since 25th of May. They don’t accept phone calls. I sent them email but I am sure they have lost my parcel.
    I have baclofen to last me until this w/e.
    Is there anybody in UK who can help me?
    I may pay by moneygram, paypal or return same quantity (+some extra!) once I get baclofen from the other pharmacy (it would be sometime next week).

    Please help. I am in London.

    I just received the parcel!
    Withdrawal from bac is horrendous and I would never make the same mistake again.

      Dear All,

      I must go mad. I received two pacifens, and to my horror i have just now discovered i must have thrown away the full one instead of empty.
      Please send me whatever small quantity you have.
      My currend dose is 150 so I would need at least 450 by Monday.
      I jhave already ordered from two other pharmacies but afraid that i would not get it in time for w/e and I will be f..ed.

      p.s. I am in London.
      p.p.s. I hate to to to GP for he doesn't know about my alcohol problem and I am sure never heard of bac.

          I am on 150 mg per day. By Saturday I will have 100 only. Saturday and Sunday would be hell for me.
          I hate to write again but if there is someone in UK please help.
          I will reimburse all the costs including postage or simply return the medicine next wek as soon as I receive parcels from 4rx and Supersavers.

              Honey, You're dealing with a big time difference form London to the rest of the world and ALOT of people with different capacities to help.

              Be patient. Greg asked you to go to the Starting out thread. Have you visited?
              There are MANY threads here not just this one...

              If you are having trouble with Medication, I suggest you pop over to the Medication threads - loads of help there. I've read lots of past posts similar to yours

              You're in a good place here just maybe not on the best thread

                tto99: I live in the U.S., so don't think I can be much help in the amount of time you need it. If I were you, if all else fails, I would go to the Emergency Room of a nearby hospital, or, here in the States we have "emergency clinics," where you can walk in and see a doctor for, well, emergencies. And this situation certainly is an emergency. Prepare yourself to explain to a Dr. exactly how much baclofen you're taking and why. Take your copy of Dr. Ameisen's book, print out a couple of the studies done with baclofen for alcoholism, and information about baclofen withdrawal. AND be sure to explain to him that benzodiazapines DO NOT WORK for baclofen withrdrawal. If you read a few posts you'll find the correct explanation regarding how baclofen works as an agonist for different Gaba receptors. (I'd tell you which is for which, but I'm not completely certain at this moment). Well armed with this information, hopefully you can get a physician to write a prescription for at least whatever the minimum standard is, and possibly more.

                Looks as if there WAS response to your request earlier. We have a saying here in the U.S. that applies when a small part of a bigger issue goes badly. "Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater." Or, in this case, don't toss MWO out with the full bottles of baclofen in the trash.

You might want to call around: https://www.mywayout.org/community/f2...-uk-41291.html I think it's important to have a prescription just for these kinds of emergencies because as we all know, you can't just 'stop' taking it...
