    Hi, Taw! Hope things are going well! We carved pumpkins and had cider and donuts last night. It was awesome. Hope you're able to do some fun fall stuff with your little guy.

      Giving up....in a good way!

      Windy, you sound like a normal person free of alcohol. Amazing! Admiring you and TAW from afar. Months AF sounds like a new life would have to be found to make it work. My sister and I were bemoaning our boredom and utter disinterest in hobbies ... what does one do for fun? All around is work elwaiting for us... being indoors and using technology so depressing.

      Anyways, off to e plore Tao's and Santa Fe with a friend tomorrow. First real vacation in over ten years...

        Giving up....in a good way!

        Hello everyone! I am here! Things at work have been extremely chaotic for the last couple weeks. I log onto MWO every morning with the intention of reading and getting caught up only to find myself turning off my computer at the end of the day, not having read, and too exhausted and nite to be arsed with turning on my home computer!

        Thanks for resurrecting my thread, Stuck, Windy, Bruun. I am doing well. Still AF. Feeling good. I did have a couple sips of wine last night. We had a HUGE political event here last night I was in charge of and I needed to settle down. But other than that, nothing. And really ok with it!

        I am hoping to get caught up with some reading on the threads this weekend.

        Windy, we will be costume shopping this weekend and carving pumpkins. I cannot wait! And I think cider is a great replacement for the glugg I would have had in the past!

        I hope everyone is doing well! I will get caught up soon, I promise, cause I miss you guys!!

          Yay costume shopping! Sorry it's been hectic for you at work. But keeps you busy, right? "Couple of sips of wine"? I don't care, I have to try wine and beer all the time for work, but are you still on AB? Still thinking of giving the bac a shot again, or have you already started?
          And, Bruun, while I'm definitely better than when I was drinking, I'm by no means "normal". I used the pumpkin carving party to indulge in my new drugs of choice, food and sleep. I refused to carve a pumpkin, ate until I felt sick, fell asleep sitting up in a chair, woke up and ate some more. Sister's friends were definitely weirded out.

            Glad you're doing well, Taw! Being busy at work blows, but fear not, the threads (and we) will be here whenever you get a chance. We're cool like that... not like a cult that will write on your thread and hunt you down if you ever try to leave. :l Oh, hey, wait a minute, that hug seems kinda menacing now...
