    Baclofen help a newbie

Hello all, I am a newbie. I have been lurking a long time and really don't want to get into my whole story. I still keep it hidden from most people. But I have a great doctor who does everything he can to help me. I went to him today wanting baclofen. He wasn't against it. Just said he hadn't heard anything about it helping alcoholics. I told him I would send him info I had learned from this page and he promised me he would read it all, but to not get my hopes up he would give it to me. So I have read a ton of treads and I think I have all the right information to send him. But I was hoping peopel could post anything they had. The more I have to send him, the better case it will make. I am ready to have my life back and nothing else has helped. I want to send him as much information as I can. I have been seeing him for a long time and he has supported me and helped me more then anyone. I know if I show him proof, he will do it. So please post anything you have about the effectiveness of baclofen.

Thanks to everyone who responds This is the closest I have ever been to admitting I have a problem. But I remember a better life and I want that back. And I have a great doctor who will really help me as long as he feels it is safe. I ned to back up baclofen as much as I can!
