    The ol' good mirta again!

First pilot study (8-week only tho) evaluating mirta efficacy for the treatment of depression and alcohol dependence...published just few days ago.
Highlights: depressive symptoms decreased by 74%, and drinking decreased from 33.9 to 13.3 drinks per week, a 60.8% decrease!

    The ol' good mirta again!

I believe mirtazapine is a very useful drug, but in my case the weight increase outweighed (no pun intended) the benefits. It was also a good sedative. I stopped taking it because I put 10 pounds on in the first month.
