Any good ideas for insomnia I seen to get with this baclofen? Sure would be nice to sleep!

    Thanks!

Wish I could help, but the best solution I've come up with is to keep a pack of cigarettes on the nightstand, and make sure I've got something to do for an hour or two in the middle of the night.

I hear mind over matter works, though. Try just rolling over and waiting for a bit. Boring, I know... but that's the point.

Thx anyways. Don't want to pick up smoking again.

I'll stick with the valerian, melatonin, and heroin. Just kidding on the last one.

Tell us more. Are you not sleeping at all? Two to three hours a night? How much baclofen are you taking at what times of day? How long have you been on baclofen?

        Some snippets of advice:
        - Try not have any caffeine after 2 pm, and try to limit even before then.
        - Try over the counter sleep aids like benadryl.
        - If you find yourself up in the middle of the night, try not to struggle with it -- that will make it worse. Classic sleep coach advice is to get out of bed, go read for 20 minutes in another room, and then go back to bed.

I take about 230 mg. I break it out over 4 times. Last dose around 7-8 pm.

          No caffeine late.
Some luck with antihistamines but they make me groggy
I don't struggle with it but that's what I have- mid insomnia. I can fall asleep, I don't stay asleep.

          Thx

Yeah, that's classic bac: fall asleep fine but wake up soon after. A lot of us went through a sleep for 2 hours, wake up, sleep for 2 hours, wake up, sleep for 2 hours pattern. It's very typical for HDB. The only thing I've found that helps is to take a Benadryl when I first wake. It works! If you're feeling groggy in the morning, well, so what? It'll wear off soon enough. Maybe take a half Benadryl and see if that helps.

It's a bitch, but HDB and sleep disruption go hand in hand. Soz!

I am sure you're right. I have doxy and atarax, too.

I'm very sorry to hear that. Perhaps antibiotics would clear them up. :H
