He was the CEO of PrecisionPeptides and an outstanding chemist and had problems with alcohol.
EVERYONE he talked to foretold that he was dying and that is why virtuouslabs stopped operation.
It was passed off to Gavin Smith. He was also the co=founder of Sten Labs and several other labs.
His passing should not be degraded by those on this forum. He was the one who actually started the forum here and baclofen trials to treat his cystic fibrosis.
He passed months ago and still there are the haters. You can check out James' obiturary here
RIP, James Tamborello, Precision Peptides CEO
and here at the actual funeral home here
Trinity Memorial Gardens: James Tamborello
Its disgusting the way people disrespect the man who created this very baclofen community. I am his friend and he was a pioneer in trying to treat his disease that unfortunaely he succumbed to drinking alcohol when he knew he was dying yet inspired so many to live

Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy. The sorrow we have for you, our hearts are broken we will never be the same without you. You brought us so much joy,and laughter. The desease of giving you Cystic Fibrosis you was not fair. We are so sorry for doing that to you. You did not die from CF, you died of something else that we don't know why. But we will find out why, and what did this to you, and why you were taken away from us so soon. Our tears can't stop and we know that you wouldn't want us to be like this. We love you so much Jimmy and will miss you forever in our hearts. We are caring your pain now, the pain that you always had and kept so silent to others. Your only one big wish in your life was to be happy and have a family of your own children. That wish was never granted to you, and we are so sorry. Come back to me, I want our baby back home. I Love You !!!!
Love, Mom
Jimmy Dad here. Son you are my HERO. I will miss our morning calls and our nightly wrap up conversations. I will miss your stupid little pranks and your wonderful smile. You are my best friend and you will always be in my heart and my thoughts. You are a good man with a big heart You gave when there was nothing else to give. As you said in your favorite quote.
"Death smiles upon all of us, all we can do is smile back." You are my Gladiator.
I love you.
Dad

I am retired in spain for about 6 months now. I can still remember Jimmy in spain with me.He had the time of his life with David Dee and the rest of the group. The boys didn't do laundry but I told them they were on their own.

Jim, RIP old friend. From being one of my first boyfriends in junior high to a sweet friend through high school...I've got many great memories. My love to your family and closest friends as they celebrate your life and grieve your death. May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. May the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, May the Lord hold you in the palm of His hand.--God Bless You, Jim.

I met Jim when he was in school in Ohio. There were times we talked and he told me his feelings about life in general. He was a kind hearted person. I have not seen him for about 10 or so years now but I will never forget his smile, his laugh, and his stories. He will be missed.

Dear Jimmy,
It's strange how death brings us together and back to reality. The reality that life is a gift, reminding us all that we should live life to the fullest everyday.
I was so sorry when your grandfather died. He touched all our lives in a special way, especially with his singing voice. And, because of his death, your Chicago family was united together and was able to see you one last time. Of course, how would we have known, that would be the last time we'd see you. Even though it was over 20 years that I'd last seen you, your smile was the same, happy and bright. Just like your grandfather's. The kind words you said about Uncle Jimmy made me realize you were proud to be a Jimmy also.
You'll forever live in our hearts.

Jimmy,
I remember growing up as kids. Spending birthdays and holidays together, after all that's what family is all about. We has so many good times together. We uses to fight like brothers, but that's what made us so close. I wish we didn't move away from each other. I would love nothing more than to have shared my family with you. The last time I saw you was back in '07 at my Dad's funeral. I was so happy you were there as was my Dad. I know he loved being your Godfather. I can't even imagine what you've been thru. Fighting this illness your entire life. You have inspired me to be strong and courageous for whatever illness becomes of me. I will miss you and never forget.
Love,
MGL

Jimmy,
Even though it's been years since we last saw each other. I'll always remember you. I'll always remember our families going on vacation together, to Myrtle beach, and that house on a lake in Wisconsin. You were like another older brother to me growing up. I remember once when we were little the sun was setting and the sky and clouds were turning orange and purple. You had told me that the colors were angles. And even to this day when I see it I remember that and tell whoever I'm with the same thing. Now when I see those colors in the sunset I'll see you. RIP Jimmy. I hope you are pain free and in a happy place. You'll forever be loved. And I'll see you on the other side.

We can't tell you enough how sorry we are for your loss. Since we heard the sad news we have not stopped thinking about your family. We have enjoyed reading the other posts on this site and learning more about Jim and the person he was. It is hard for us to not be able to attend the service for Jim and share our sympathies in person. We know this will be a difficult week for your family. Through the love of your family and friends you will find the strength to celebrate Jim's life.

To Jim's Family and Friends,
We have been working with Jim for a few years now and have grown to respect and admire him as a business man. We never got to spend time as friends as we are always chasing the almighty dollar but we knew we had a lot in common and did enjoy the time we had spent together. Our family prayed for him and his recovery, we will miss him dearly. Our deepest sympathy to those who were close to him our prayers are with you also.

As I sit on this plane heading to your funeral, I am thinking of all our years together. You were the center of my life from 8th grade through senior year of college. We called it destiny. We said we were soul mates. We always thought it'd be forever. Unfortunately the world got in the way of those dreams. But over the years, even when no words were spoken between us, that love remained. That connection ran so deep, it really was unbreakable. I realize that not all love stories have happy endings, but it doesn't change the fact that our love was real and special. I am thankful you were part of my life story. You helped make me the woman I am today. And I know you only wanted me to be happy. They say you never forget your first love, and I will never forget you. Until we meet again..

Jimmy, you were that "Little Engine" that could. I remember your little legs moving like a locomotive on the soccer field. No one was going to stop you. You turned into a brave man that is still unstoppable as you inspired all who knew you. We'll be with you tomorrow and in your thoughts always.
