Gabapentin with baclofen

Has anyone used these two in combination? Are there serious interaction issues?

I was thinking of using the gabapentin as a sleep aid and other issues such as nerve pain.

I hear good things. I've only ever taken 300mg every now and again before going to bed--mostly because I get panic attacks trying to sleep. Can't say it worked for sure, but nothing bad happened. And given the chance I'd get a script.

Oh, and the bac part: currently around 120, been as high as 250, and the gabapentin fell anywhere in that range.

Thanks, that's kind of what I was looking at. 300mg about 1 hour before bed.

I am at 240mg on bac but stabilized on the SE's.

Glad it helped. Good for nerve pain but may require more dozing than you plan for that. Excellent for mood Ewing's like Pms and depression. Helps my brother with his Pms too. Tho he is usually a Dick so I don't think its a periodic thing for him.

Gabapentin is what I use with Bac. There is a GABA-A, and a GABA-B, brain mechanism that is associated with excitement, and what we are all dealing with here. One med, addresses the A, the other addresses the B. Which is what little I remember from research. Look into Pubmed for assistance on this. I had all this on the hard drive that recently crashed.

I love my neurontin. Helps my mood, anxiety and concentration. Tried stimulants before, neurontin works better for me. Neurontin also doesn't damage liver, another plus. But an anti seizure drug. Always should be prescribed by a doc.

No, sorry if I misled you, it doesn't act as a stimulant. It just helps me concentrate... Maybe because my electrical activity in my brain is abnormal and it normalizes it. It typically is slightly calming and could bw sedating to most people and may actually help w pain and sleep.
