    Meeting Phill

    You have missed the "if"s

If Phill's advice is simply to enjoy good food then I don't have a problem but if he thinks being seriously overweight is a viable alternative to the bottle.....

He's done me a lot of good. And he did do it in 6 weeks as he said he could, We chat about 3 times a week now, because I'm stable on 120mg. Initially it was a daily consultation, but I dont need that now.

        Serial deletion

A serial deleter has been at work with the downside that my comments don't make too much sense.
The upside is that AZ seems a much more credible individual.

Have all posts on all threads by ArizonaMan been removed?
          Is this phenomenon "avatarial suicide"?
Will we ever know whether ArizonaMan was a ringer for Dr. Phill?

The way it works, as far as I can tell, is that there are a couple of people who can (and do) get the notice of the moderator(s?) of this site.

AZman, and others, were not shills. Phill helped them. They were/are sharing the information. The person(s) who were last involved may have notified the administrator. Then all the posts by AZman, and even his username, were deleted.

Fair and balanced? I'll leave it to you to decide for yourself. Particularly since it is very (very!) rarely anyone from the meds threads that actually gets threads in the med section deleted and/or people banned from MWO. In fact, in my couple of years here, that's never happened. Whereas people have been banned and threads have been completely deleted only after involvement from people who are not actively involved in the meds sections, and don't take meds, and some of whom are still drinking.

            just sayin'

(Oh, and I'll delete this shortly so as not to get banned myself. There's really no telling who it happens to or why it happens.)

Even his membership has been deleted, so it sure looks like it.
Perhaps he gave himself away when he mentioned that Dr. Phill is still here and can be reached through him?

Everyone is still here. It's a wide open forum, Xadrian. AZman was not a shill. Neither are the others.

Don't we all want to share what helps us? Particularly when it is as revolutionary (and difficult to find) as baclofen? Particularly when the people who have information, and access to baclofen seem to be...sketchy?

Is it so hard to believe that someone who got an incredible amount of support and help just wanted to share that information?

And to be very clear, I don't care one whit about the personalities involved. Silence keeps people sick. As does drama.

Conjecture and insinuation and character assassination are uncalled for, and absolutely condoned on this forum.

The reasons that Arizonaman's account was deleted, and all of his posts erased, will not be explained. But the only way that can happen is if an administrator of MWO does it. That's it. There is no other way.

If an administrator of MWO deleted Arizonaman's account, I might hope they mentioned the reason for it to AZman himself.
Sanctioning someone without explaining to him why doesn't make much sense, does it?

Moreover, deleting all of someones posts pulls discussions completely out of their contexts.

and unfortunately brings the credibility of MWO under the microscope.

Too damned true. A couple of hours a day of physical exertion goes a long way. How about professional poker, running a bordello, mentoring reforming alcoholics and teaching grandmothers how to suck eggs as ways towards filling the vacuum. And if you still have empty slots serial wanking should muddy the passage of time. My goodness, we certainly have terrible problems! Maybe the demon drink serves a purpose after all.

Your solutions to the issue of what to do, and how to recreate, and how to have fun are certainly much more creative and fun than mine.
                        I like it.

Again with the credibility! What, exactly, is even remotely credible about an anonymous online forum??? Ever? When people don't have to give a name, and match it to a face and a life, they can be anyone or anything...And change it regularly. It happens regularly. Perhaps I'm wrong, and everyone who posts anything in favor of one man (or disparaging another) is actually the person being lauded? Who knows? Who cares? Because does it really matter? Really??? How?

My name/identity/address and phone number have all been posted several times and in several places. I've openly admitted to changing my username several times (but all when I first joined, and I don't remember them all now--"researcher", "research" something else, I think...) But I've been Neva Eva and then Ne/Neva Eva for since June 2010 when I joined under that username.
Lo0p will share his info, too. As will several others. But who is to say who any of the people who won't or don't are?
Without a name, everything should be taken with a sense of caution. Even with it. I'm just a formerly drunk chick in Virginia who found a way out and tries to share it. Everything else is moot.

And hopefully deleted, though I do find one every now and then I've missed.

Im on 100 - 120mg of baclofen and am still following Phill's programme. Ive got my family back and im looking forward to geeting my job and the rest of my life back. I've seen some nonsense here, but I have to tell you that my recovery is all down to him.
