    Trapped

I am literally trapped, all I do is drink and I'm ashamed that rehab did not make me me quit. I need to go on baclofen (tried it once before, stopped due to side effects), it is my only hope. I know I need to call The Dr. in chicago, I am worried he will say no since I called him before but I don't know what else to do.

Just call. He will most likely not even remember you. This is fine. Tell him about yourself and say that you need a script and that's it. He doesn't really believe in SEs but you can say you got really anxious. The point is that he'll write you a script for whatever you need. Or you can order bac online.

Best of luck. You are NOT trapped. :l

Call him. You are not alone here. But be careful -its a dangerous place without seeking help. CAll him.

You do anything and everything you can to stop the madness.

I am absolutely sure you are not his first patient to stop and start...... Tis the nature of the addiction

Give him a ring and try again or look at other meds and chat here with those that knows.

Good luck and don't despair :l

Stuck is right. There is a door, but you can't find it in a pitch black room.
I hope the baclofen can switch the light on for you, like it did for me and many others.

Read on this forum and read a lot of it. There's a huge amount of valuable information around here, including info regarding side-effects and how people deal with them and how you maybe can reduce them.

          Good luck!
Today is the first day of the rest of my life.

Stuck is also right in that Dr. L is 1) totally used to that (I did it. Several times.) and 2) doesn't care/remember.

Just call him. The first time I actually talked to him (and the second and maybe even the third) I cried like a baby. I think it's fair to say that there isn't anything he hasn't heard before. At least not from the likes of us!

There's a way (many ways, but bac is a good one!) out. Hang in there. Don't give up.

Second what everybody says. He's a pushover even if he does remember you. I love him to death but the odds that he remembers you and/or recalls the details of your treatment are low at best. He definitely knows who I am now, but it's been at least a year and a half that I've been bugging him.
